Does the walther PP and PPK with a threaded barrel really have the same barrel length as their respective unthreaded versions? Thats pretty gay

Yeah, they made a completely different frame and slide so they could keep the same barrel length.

But why? You can take a PP BBL thread it and install in the PPK.

I actually visited Walther's website and the external threaded portion is an adapter.
Guess that means you could have a suppressor that threads onto the actual barrel for that James Bond look.
