What does /k/ think?>self-defense weapon called Shugoshin>designed by ex-spec ops JSDF man>made to be able to be used by the physically weak with minimal training>60000 yen ($400)>made of heat-treated aluminium alloy
>>65105430>made to be used by ants
>>65105430$400 to be gaaaaaaay
>>65105430More like SHUGOSHYGDDT.
I can't even be sure if it is a knife or a seatbelt cutter because of how shit the image is.A .380 subcompact is a better self defense weapon.
>>65105450considering the price is in yen i don't think carrying a 38 is an option
Looks promising. I can see many applications even in just daily schlepping work, as a tool of productivity and not just violence..t
>>65105454>the yen is so down Nips can't even afford .38 SpecialOwari da.
>>65105430buy an addon't use this image for the ad
>aluminium>niumsnapshot!
>>65105459It'd make a great banner.
>>65105441I'll do it every time, folks.
>>65105450Woman for scale.
>>65105430>>65105481So what is it a sword and shield? What the fuck
>>65105483Well that's not an invention
>>65105481What the fuck am I looking at? Nobody here reads moonruins, nip.
>>65105430Looks more retarded than a bat'leth. I don't know much about nip laws but I'm pretty sure that'd still be considered a weapon and illegal to carry or use. If you're gonna break the law at least carry something that might work
>>65105484I think it’s more like a very narrow cudgel. It doesn’t look like it has a sharpened edge.
>>65105494You can't cut yourself with it and it has plenty of pointy bits to beat people with (as does the shield). It just works.
>>65105483Mogged by a cast iron pot lid. It's in a retarded spot of having the lack of maneuverability and weight of an actual shield without the coverage. Diy buckler would be a better option and offer way more legal insulation
Gonna see this in the next Yakuza game wielded by a 4'7 85lb japanese woman doing acrobatics in 6" heels.
>>65105488>Nobody here reads moonruins, nip.Ahkshully...
>>65105488>not reading moonrunes in M3.026
>>65105430it would be useful in post-disarmanent post-famine gaza
If you can use weapons to defend yourself in Japan like some kind of castle doctrine rule, why not use an incredibly cheap Katana/Katana like sword? In Japan you can get an authentic sword for not much.
>>65105634plant an orchard while you're at it
>>65105634even a length of steel pipe would be better than that
>>65105430>Buy it and feel like a real man for 15 minutes>Forgotten about.>One day hear: SIR YOU CAN'T BE TAKIN THIS WEP ON ON DA PLANE! I'm fixn to confiscate this sir.>Can't argue because you don't have 4hrs to wait in line again and you ubered here anyway. Your wife (female assigned at birth nonbinary) is now mocking you for wasting money and HER time she could be using on another solo trip.Ruff.
>>65105481is that a flashlight mounted on it? what is the use case for this thing?
>>65106203Seperating morons from thier money.
>>65105508Speaking of kitchenware, the perfect less-lethal weapon
>>65105483>the laser cut steel plateIn my area nearly all the public art and fascias/embellishments is laser cut steel plate, often slotted together like the old plywood dinosaur models for 3D. Its fucking cheap and I hate it. At least this has a coating they typically go for the rusted (a.k.a. zero effort) look.
>>65105483wow straps on the outside of the shield. if somebody hits it with a blade the shield just fell on your foot.
it looks like a stupid anime weapon, but japan is safe enough that they can get away with stupid shit like this for "self defense" something more like a small riot shield and a large knife would be better. maybe add a bright flashlight to the shield to 'blind' your attacker. or just pepper spray but I dont know if japanese laws allow that.
>>65107301>rusted steel plate architectureAre you Finnish too or is the plague more widespread than I thought
Just use a mace.
>>65105483This is just cyperpunk-genre larp gear
I'd like to have a warpick disguised as a hiking walking stick, just say its LotR inspired cosplay nerd shit like Gimli's walking axe
>>65105454I lived in japan for a tad and it would unironically be much easier to carry a gun in japan than a sword. They take sword laws very seriously there but wil assume any gun to be airsoft. Youll see kids with the most realistic metal AR airsoft guns youve ever seen chilling on trains and cosplayers with berettas walking around convention centers. Get caught with some ebin tacticool machete and you will go to prison.
>>65105483I'm sure I'd beat that slant-eyed beast bare-headed.And then my semen would be beating and kicking her from inside for the next nine months.
>>65105481Ah, so this is a mall-ninja thread?
