Good evening /k/ommandos, I'm wonder if any of you find folk have gambled on weapons from the great goat shed in the swamps and if you have gotten burned from uii. I recently bought an EG kit from RTI, poor bore as that's all they have for those att. Ive been thinking about buyin both a yugo m70b1 kit and an AMD 65 while they still have them. They still have like 10 GAFATS available, but at the price point of 400 for a partial kit, It's not worth it. all the others are sub 300 atm so im more open to gambling on that myself.
>>65107106My experience with RTI was doing dealer transfers while working at an LGS.>Nastiest most battered box falls off the truck.>Can barely make out where it is from or who it's for, can tell by the shipping label it came from RTI>Have to reach out to RTI to book it in because their FFL copy is illegible.>There's a Carcano inside with the serial number and import markings barely visible under a pile of orange slag, wood practically crumbling in my hands>Excited customer comes in asking if his Carcano is in.>Uhhhhh... that one? Probably not multiple people expecting a rusted to shit Carcano on the same day.>Double check with RTI that this is the correct customer JIC.>He's excited as fuck as if he just won the lottery, big plans for his gunsmithing project.>Happily pays extortionate California transfer fee.>Paid like $400 between the gun, shipping and transfer.>Ask manager if we can give him a break on the transfer because I just feel terrible screwing him after RTI already sent him a box of rust and woodrot.>Nah he seems pretty happy with everything. He did restore it but it required a new stock and the rifling was totally gone. Not a shooter, but when he brought it back I was really surprised how well the rust on the outside cleaned up. Still, it was a rare situation where a customer was that excited to get screwed.
>>65107559>excited to get screwedI think that should be their new motto>"Get excited to be screwed!"kek
