What's the actual state of the art as far as drones for warfare? Pic related was posted today

>"Anduril revealed an AI-powered kamikaze drone that fits in a backpack, weighs 15 pounds, and finishes the strike at will."

>"pretty fucking sick."

More like pussy warfare. Now people are just "phoneing it in" or remoting in because the scared fat ass cant do it.
>>
Not sure if you're a paid shill for Fagduril or a bot or a botshill but this is pretty fucking pathetic dude

>"State of the art"
>Heavier, slower, and less lethal than Ukrainian drones from 2024

I recall that at that point the Ukrainians already had 3D printed drones with shaped charges with full AI terminal guidance with a sub-2000 dollar price point.

Literally insane how badly behind the US is in drone warfare, this shit is Switchblade 300 tier. You know things are bad when we're forced to bang out Shahed copies.
>>
>>65108065
I don't think those worked, bud. Not as well as they needed to, clearly
>>
>>65108065
T8Ls and a whoop can be had for $100
Ev800d and some lipos and a usb charger for 1s can be had for $150

Just issue them to every soldier, any soldier that can perform a power loop in the mess hall now part of the new drone battalion

You could start it by next week
>>
>>65108044
why's it always the roasties who go topless and not some nubile young lass with perky tits

>>65108065
>Ukrainian
reality is that the cheapest Ukrainian FPV drone is still over $10,000 and the Ukrainians have contracted US and UK companies to design and build their drones for them, because surprise surprise; it turns out that you need NATO mil-spec to actually get shit done

you know nothing, Snow(nigger)
>>
>>65107496
Ukraine uses ground drones for resupply and medical evacuation. They also have ground drones that can operate as a mobile machine gun turret among other things.

Fiber optic drones that idle in ambush positions are used by both sides.

The switchblade 300 from years ago had the target tracking and autopilot where you select the software image recognized target and press the red button and the drone does the rest without input.

Sweden has been selling the new Saab misssile to Ukraine that will fly to a waypoint and then detect a target to attack without any communication. The tech has been here for years and will only become better and more common.

Cheapest Ukrainian fpv drone is definitely not $10k usd

They’re using 3d printed frames, pcbway pcbs and Esp32 flight controllers configured AIO style, ELRS beta flight and analog vtx sure they might run on off channels that aren’t 2.4ghz or 900 mhz Gemini for transmission but that’s literally a module swap

They’re probably looking at a maximum of $400 per fpv drone counting the 5s or 6s lipo that gets blown up

Evaluate this then.

>>65108162
Fpv 10” quad lower left can see the antennas for the vtx and rtx sticking up past the lipo likely a 6s
>>
>>65108191
Can you give a production cost estimate for the four drones in the top row?
>>
>>65108207
Give me some specs on them, those are classified as heavy lift drones for camera rigs

Depending on what you’re using for flight controllers they could be as cheap as $2000 to up to $8000 if you want to go crazy and go with arduino controls and gps nav or inav controls
>>
Speaking of drones when are we going to see the first FPV assassination attempt on politicians/celebs?
>>
>>65108269
Suprised it hasn't happened yet when you can build these things in your backyard already.

Drones are just a flying quad copter that’s radio controlled

Crashing one into someone is going to hurt but no lethal

Your real bottle neck to seeing drones used in civilian attacks is getting ordinance onto a drone

But then you can hear and literally see it coming
>>
>>65108333
Bombs are not that difficult to build, a soda-can packed with homemade explosives and a some nuts and bolts taped around it isn't rocket science.
>>
>>65108333
You can't hear/see shit on stage in front of a crowd
>>
>>65108223
go by what you see in the photo above
top row four only
>up to $8000 if you want to go crazy and go with arduino controls and gps nav or inav controls
it would seem that actual Ukrainian military drones do in fact need a lot of that higher end stuff

If you value having 5 fingers dont play games with explosives

>Drones are just a flying quad copter that’s radio controlled
pregrogram a flight path, add camera and facial recognition for terminal guidance, no need for a radio link

>Crashing one into someone is going to hurt but no lethal
Add a bunch of stabby bits if you can't figure out >>65108372

isnt this just worse in everyway than the american switchblades from the start of the war.other than being cheap.
being cheap is important but techwise

Absolute fucking nonsense and cope, you should kill yourself as not only are you a poor salesman, you also are apparently arrogant enough to think that the US has anything new to offer the world in tactical drone warfare currently. It doesn't and won't unless something changes. The only US drones that proved slightly useful in Ukraine were VBATs and everything else was garbage. No Ukrainian drone in frontline use was designed by the US. Reapers got shot down en mass in Iran and air defenses were completely inadequate to defend high value assets from getting clapped by basic bitch Shaheds. We have no short range interceptor drones or quad FPVs in active service, our kamikaze drones are just Shaheds but too expensive to launch in swarms, and we have no doctrine for low cost short range air defense units, ground units do not routinely carry jammers nor do they themselves have dedicated FPV drone units. And it's because of fucktard con artists like you that this is the case because you spent the entire last five years where we could have been learning crowing that those lessons somehow didn't apply to us. Fuck you, fuck your mother, eat shit, die in a hole. The only contribution you will ever make to the US is stepping out of the way at letting someone who knows what they're doing take charge.

NTA but that's how it's being shilled to normies
>>
>>65108407
> go off what you see in the image only

Looks like a 20 inch? Tubular frame,

Flight controller???? Vtx ???? Sometimes those drones run gimbals on the cameras, I’d probably say it’s got a gps board, probably

No likely inav and probably not arduino pilot

To me that looks more like a resupply drone rather than a weapon
>>
>>65108281

>>65108899
It has been with nukes.
>>
>>65108943

number 4 with the purple flowers has nice tits
>>
>>65107496
Nobody wants to talk about it but the real deal is combining target recognition with independent decision-making. Just tell them to go to an area and attack anything that looks like an enemy. It only requires cheap and lightweight hardware. We already had this for missiles but nobody talks about it any more.
