These, but with a bayonet holder rated for his katana.

Why wouldn't they? Japanese katanas are created by master smiths and folded up to a million times, making them the finest blades known to mankind. I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine katana in Japan for 2,400,000 Yen (that's about $20,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even cut slabs of solid steel with my katana. What warrior wouldn't stick with such a masterwork?

I always thought these were really cool if not very goofy looking, just a big hollow cloth bamboo thing you wear on your back on a horse, its a big arrow screen that billows out on your back while you ride. The arrow would pass through the cloth and slow down considerably so that the lacquered armor would just deflect it, if the arrow wasn't outright just stuck in part of the Horo.

first saw them playing Shogun2, the BEST total war game ever made

Is that the dude who was a really good swordsman, so the guys who tried to assassinate him and his friend brought spears to offset his sword skills, so he just shot them instead? I can't remember his name, but the story specified he had a French pinfire revolver.

It's fucking criminal that the only game to recapture Tribes movement has been a fucking factory logistics game made by a bunch of anti-gun swedes

and that game still has the best assault rifle of any modern shooter and all you do with it is shoot 30-50 feral hogs, sometimes a spider

>and all you do with it is shoot 30-50 feral hogs
Just like real life guns.
>>
>>65110040
>How does it work?
It's basically a P90 made out of sheet metal after beating up a cosplayer with a fallout laser rifle
>What does it eat?
Unspecified calibre rounds made out of smokeless powder and rolled copper sheeting with no lead. also the smokeless powder is made of coal, elemental sulfur, and plastic production runoff. it has inexplicably really well made gun sounds and is satisfying to shoot for a video game gun. It's incredibly gay and even more swedish and by the time you get it you are basically out of things to shoot

>>65110049
it is ironically less effective than the mysterious rebar launcher which is itself the best shotgun, grenade launcher, less lethal launcher, and magnum pistol in any modern shooter. and true to life all you do with your incredibly powerful grenade pistol is remove trees at a point in your life where the value of the wood gained from cutting it down and processing it properly is not as good as the aesthetic value of not having a tree right where you're trying to build something useful

The real answer is whatever the best weapon is at the time. If the samurai were still around today, they'd be proficient with modern small arms. They'd probably be doing things modern commissioned officers are doing. They probably would still carry around daisho for traditional reasons like wearing blues.

>>65113041
The last samurai utilized armaments capable of suppressive fire & bayonet charges.

I tailor my messages to my audience.
You sound like a dumbfuck zoomer so it was reasonable to assume you only understand terms like brainrot. It adequately conveys the point that the problem isn't in your optical hardware, it's in the signal processing your biological neural network does.
