The XM-29 OICW era was an utter fucking disaster for small-arms. The only two things to come out of it that were remotely useful are in use by the Chinese and North Koreans, and I'm 100% confident that the North Korean version doesn't have any sort of electronics in it. But I'm sure that insufferable faggot Norktard is gonna pop up here with his schizo fanfics and tell us how the North OICW equivalent is far better than the Chinese counterpart.

More research should have been put into figuring out just how much HE of which composition and which warhead shape/design yielded the minimum acceptable size and velocity of fragments, and then worked backwards from there. Instead, each new submission is a complete weapons system plus largely untested ammo.Also, in this day and age, the slug-thrower should really be SCHV C-T, not a PDW round or an AR carbine glued to the bottom.
