Henry is pretty good. Made by people of mostly German heritage living in Wisconsin. It's not slop like Ruger or PSA makes, or YHWH forbid one of those brazilian/turkish imported lever guns.

My neighbor has gone hog hunting at SAM Houston state park up north of Houston. There’s also huntsville state park. Google is your friend. There public land along the coast for water fowl. There are rules about how and when, and there is usually a fee in addition to requiring a hunting permit.
