>sent in suppressor for warranty>staff has seemingly quit in the middle of the shitstormSo I'm totally fucked, I guess? Anyone ever had a similar situation happen to them? Also, does anyone know exactly what's going on? I've seen the Swiss say the US side isn't paying their bills, and the US side claims the Swiss are trying to fuck them over.
No idea. Suppressors are gay. I want the boom.
>>65122163>I've seen the Swiss say the US side isn't paying their bills, and the US side claims the Swiss are trying to fuck them over. It's likely both are true; the US side probably hasn't paid any outstanding debts since the beef started, and the Swiss side keeps bringing stuff manufactured with such bad QA/QC that the brand's reputation is going down the shitter.
>>65122163lol
Unless you have a TP9 why would you get a B&T can?
>>65122364Their SD cans are some of the best on the market.
>>65122163I'm sorry anon, your suppressor is gone.
>>65122373>best in the market>sent in for warrantyPick one.
>>65122373>They're the best! Best rifles!>unless they break now they're not good anymore>but the suppressors! Those are the best!>well actually they fail tootheir marketing budget for mid youtubers is the only thing outstanding about B&T.
>>65122509Not him, but the problem is the SD suppressor market is basically>B&T>HTA (no real track record)>janky as fuck adapters to tape a regular 9mm suppressor on to an extension
>>65122373lolno. Why do you think Europeans who can buy those BT for half price and with no hassle choose to buy only american suppressors or the cheapshit ones? Cause BT stuff is extremely poor quality for the price.
>>65124458>American suppressorsBarely a thing in Europe. We buy domestic. But we don't generally buy B&T because the only good suppressors they make are handgun suppressors
>>65124458Name another major manufacturer who makes SD cans.
>>65122556Hi-Tec Arms was started by one of the former owners of TPM outfitters so they know SD builds (I have one of them)Can't speak to their suppressors, but from what I've heard they are pretty solid.
>>65124458why are you talking on the behalf of yuropoors when you don't even know the market here ? there's no US made suppressors, nobody is importing them, the only option is ASE UTRA (finland), A-Tech (denmark), local made stuff that doesn't get exported or B&T and no the B&T are not half of the price, like the guns they cost more.>>65124486eh, i have an RBS for my 308 and it's great, i own a french made vortex for my AR and compared to it, it's heavy as fuck also it catch rust pretty easily compared to the RBS, the other B&T sup i have is for my Mk23 which work flawlessly.
>>65122163Added to that is apparently B&T USA's co-owner just pled guilty after getting caught up in the Vickers Tactical arms trafficking scandal.Probably part of why B&T Swiss are cutting ties.
>>65122163>>65122270The US side has been failing to pay bills for a decent amount of time now, and they've been slapping third party parts into B&T products for a bit now. The whole angle from B&T USA of "the Swiss are sending us bad parts!!!11!!" reeks of accusing others what you're doing. Especially considering B&T AG provided proof that Sean Sullivan (B&T USA bigwig) embezzled 1.8 million that was sent to pay for a Malaysian government contract. The good news is that B&T AG isn't abandoning the US market, and is actively working on getting a US branch going in Georgia. The bad news is that if you sent B&T USA money or a gun recently, chances are you're not getting it back until the ATF gets involved.
>>65125892Sean Sullivan apparently just pled guilty to multiple felonies over his role in the Vickers Tactical scandal. I for one think B&T USA is basically done for since he's likely on his way to prison.
>>65122163Honestly, try contacting the company about this. If you get no help at all, then you should probably try contacting your local ATF field office (the ATF even has a page on their website to find your nearest one). You stumbled into the one niche circumstance that registration can actually benefit you. If B&T aren't handing over a suppressor legally bound to you, then contacting the ATF isn't a bad idea at all. Just make sure you have the paperwork proving its yours, proof that you mailed the suppressor to B&T, and any emails between you and B&T.
>>65125532>there's no US made suppressorsWell not exactly 0 of them but I think I have seen like two in 7 years
>>65125966I wouldn't say *just*, since his plea agreement was processed in July of 2025, but who knows what his sentence was. For all we know he had a suspended sentence or charges were reduced. B&T USA is done for many reasons, and while Sullivan is many of those reasons, I don't thing the Vicker's debacle is one of them.
>>65126080Stop posting sensible answers, it scares us
I really want to grab a B&T USA 762 suppressor, good price, good enough backpressure, 3D printed inconel. But this whole mess has put a stop to that. Does B&T USA own the 3D printing machines? Which entity will take in the cans that need servicing? If B&T Swiss does, does that mean it'll be a hot while until they get another stateside suppressor outpost up and running?
>>65126152>I really want to grab a B&T USA 762 suppressorThen do it>But this whole mess has put a stop to thatUnderstandable>Does B&T USA own the 3D printing machines? In name, probably. But I wouldn't be surprised if B&T AG gets them back once this is settled.>Which entity will take in the cans that need servicing?B&T AG's new US side, once they get it going. >does that mean it'll be a hot while until they get another stateside suppressor outpost up and running?Potentially, but from their PR posts, it seems they value the US market fairly heavily, and are trying to fast track a new US side of the company located in Georgia. I wouldn't worry too much, since they're shipping small parts directly to US owners currently if you reach out to them, but I get being worried about service in the interim.
