Shop in PA will get you the barrel for honestly pretty reasonable prices. I think their name was Allegheny Arsenal?
Mount is harder to find, but not exactly rocket science, you could probably get a machinist to make you one threaded for hub standard with a pretty simple drawing.

I'll be moving to the US next month, and I'm thiking of getting an 80X Cheetah as my CCW.
Is it a good choice? Or should I go for something else?
>>
>>65123632
wood grips on pistols is such a good look.
>>
>>65124836
you need to either pass as an american to buy it locally from a guy or gun show OR you need a proper ass ID from your state, you cant just buy a gun because you're standing on our soil, thirdie
>>
>>65123425
Gay

>>65123401
I need a gun that wasn't made by and for retards, literally the only thing going for this brick shithouse is the ease of field stripping. If I wanted a shitty trigger I'd get three hipoints, if I want a steel hammer fired pistol I'll get a CZ because I'm not retarded.

Italians should stick to cars, and occasionally funky revolvers.

>>65124051
You're on the wrong board, if you want to heckle cocks you're looking for lgbt, probably whatever threads are most loudly "lesbian" because that's where all the troons go

It's actually the best.
If God wanted me to identify that mugger (or tree, or child, or whatever it was I just shot), then he would have sent him in broad daylight. Honestly though, I've never gotten the whole roland special get up on carry guns. Like, for a cop who might go looking for trouble with nothing but a duty pistol? Sure, but it just doesn't seem helpful for a self defense shooting.
>crowdfund campaign
I'm never around for these sorts of things. oh well.

>>65124051
The USP is just a P30 with the ergonomics of dimensional lumber.
>>
>>65124829
I have a P01, it's actually the first pistol I ever bought, something like 13 years ago (fuck me running that's hard to say).
If you came to me tomorrow and said I could only keep one pistol from now on, that'd honestly be the one.
It's the one that fits my tiny hands best, I'm the most accurate with it, etc. It's legitimately my favorite pistol, even now.
That said, I do want to do the Cajun gun works trigger job at some point.
The factory trigger is smooth (after somewhere between ~10-15k through the pipe, it better be) , but is not great.
Even in single action it's got some creep before the break, but it's always had that.
Also the factory guide rod is plastic, I keep saying I'm going to change it out for a metal one, but...yeah, it's been 13 years and I've not done it yet.
I've never replaced anything on it, and it's ALWAYS gone bang.
>>
>>65124836
Probably not. You can do it of course but the market for concealable pistols especially in .380 is very competitive. You can get something either much smaller and easier to shoot such as a S&W Bodyguard 2.0 or the same size but in 9mm Para which gives you much better performance and more options for ammunition.
Once you get here and actually try out some different handguns you'll see what I am talking about. Straight blowback 380s don't stack up against more modern competitors. Or you'll enjoy the 80 and carry it anyway, in which case it'll at least be an informed decision.

If he's a permanent resident he can fill out a 4473 just indicating a different country of citizenship other than the US.
If he's on a visa he needs a hunting license and he would need to show the updated visa during every purchase. It's a pain and some lazy dealers refuse to deal with it at all, but it is entirely doable.

Should I buy a second one? I just bought one the other week. I can't imagine them ever going down in value. Should I ??
>>
>>65125832
Yes
>>
>>65125696
I need the back half of a frame for one of these.
Picked up a parts kit in 32ACP for next to nothing, whoever did the demil just cut off everything behind the front of the mag well and below the trigger guard.
Bought a plate of 1040 steel and plan on just welding it to the stump that's left l and just doing my best with the milling machine and reference pictures I guess.
Definitely an exercise in autism, but not like that has stopped me before.
>>
>>65123401
No, i didn't need more, i got a 96fs because I wanted to
>>

Two Gulf Wars, baby. What "more" is there?
