I just make a huge target of like 10x 1000 stacks of printer paper. My 9mm pcc doesnt even penetrate the first 1000 stack, but i stack them 2 stacks thick/deep just to be safe. I dont see any gunpowder residue anywhere that could catch fire. I would guess a busy gun range is seeing 10k rounds per day. At that rate maybe gunpowder residue becomes a factor but i dont think its an issue if im shooting 20-30 rounds in my basement. I do vacuum my basement pretty often anyways, but i think i would have to be dumping alot more lead in my house b4 gunpowder residue would become a fire hazard.
Unless you got a real good air circulating system (you absolutely do not) I wouldn't recommend it. Of all the things to compromise on, why this? Just go to the range.
