What guerilla tactics exist aside from raids and traps (ambush, mines, IED)?I feel like hit and run is just another name for a raid
>>65125954Basically anything other than a standing fight is guerrilla. Attacks on logistics, destruction of civil infrastructure, interference with food and water, pressure on collaborators, etc.>I feel like hit and run is just another name for a raidSure, it is.
>>65125954Guerilla actions aren't restricted to tactical actions, them being part of the population isn't just to blend in with. Sabotage via intentionally shoddy labor, manufacturing, services, etc. can scale up to directly affecting occupying forces from demoralizing repeat inconveniences to harming an organization's capability to effectively execute larger military actions due to backlogged vehicle repairs as a result of sabotaged manufacturing and/or parts transportation.Harassing & intimidating locals who aid & supply occupying forces can inconvenience occupying forces without fleshed-out logistics.Plying STD-ridden prostitutes onto soldiers can incapacitate swaths of fighters, especially if they're lacking in discipline.Almost anything is fair game; I highly recommend reading picrel if you're interested in this topic.
>>65125954The term originates from the peninsula war when Spanish irregulars would attack french logistics. Nothing much changed since.
