Man this thing is going to make infantry combat so horrifying (for them)

Fortifications are basically obsolete
>>
What is it? Looks like a video game gun.
>>
Seriously negro? You've been treated to 4 years of flying grenades being guided right into peoples ankles from any conceivable angle, and you're worried about programmable fuses shaking up the meta? Not that I dont think airburst launchers have their place, but FPVs are the more elegant solution to the problem counter defilade weapons were trying to address 20 years ago.
>>
We've had grenade launchers for well over 100 years now

FPVs are banned on American servers.

Barret SSRS. 30mm high-velocity grenade launcher.

Basically the chinks made a good weapon in the LG5 15 years back, when the US was tooling around with the XM25 and that flopped. So now the US is copying the chinese approach instead.

How does it feel to have brain damage?
>>
>>65126518
Gangs are already using them, only a matter of time until someone attempts an assassination.

It's firing thirty millimeter grenades. This is a proto-boltor. It probably makes a larger explosion than the boltor.

This will come from the Mexican cartels first.

Fortifications have basically been obsolete since the 16th century.

This is the normal and rational response to being reminded that China exists. You already know where the shithole worship board is.

they are already used for dtug and mobile drops into some prisons which had to install netting etc, that was true even before ulkraine was invaded

Gangs and do a terrors don;t usually have acess to good quality high explosives and detonators though and since small fast drones have limited weight capacity the explosive has to be good and the detonator compound, that moves it into knowers territory and knowers don't want anything to do with gangs or do a terrors. Trace compounds are in all mil pe and hard to get and smuggle. OPne of the nice things about do a terrors is they are usually educational failure orientated, thus they wind up using large mass bulk explosives that often fail and frequently blow themselves up preparing them. We are all ver lucky they are so stupid.

It matters because drones and other advancements in sensors make it very obvious where exactly the enemy is, so who ever can put firepower in exact locations down range quicker is going to win.

You also wont have the same momentum from kamakazi FPVs unless you have just as many as flying at the enemy as you need, and even then, its a lot easier for 1 genadier and 1 FPV working together to fire 6 shots than it is to have 6 drone operators piloting 6 drones in a coordinated attack
>>
>>65126297
Wouldn't programmable fuses be extremely useful against drones? Or are the grenades too low-velocity?
>>
>>65126545
dumbfire grenades do not equal programmable munitions you chinkzzat obsessed bug
>>
>>65128264
they are and every video covering the gun on youtube highlights this

programmable fuses also don't have to be exclusive to the rifle, so their velocity with that launcher isnt a be all end all. Anything that can be made programmable without becoming unreliable or expensive is a massive leap in capability
>>
>>65127972
The granadier won’t hit shit even with the 10000$ calculator and laser ranger on it
>>
>Fortifications are basically obsolete
Go back to call of duty.
>>
>>65127972
Programmable fuse only works when enemy fortification has a clear line of sight entrance like a window, opening or an open top fox hole to lob the grenade into.

Guess what made those kinds of fortifications completely obsolete in the last 4 years?

Nowadays completely enclosed fortifications are the minimum if you want to survive for more than five seconds, a 30mm grenade is completely useless against them.
>>
>>65129265
>completely enclosed fortifications
How do you get in?
>>
>>65129294
Open the door

you dont you level it with ordinance, or if you're a thirdie you throw a few grenades then poke your head in and see
