>punch a hole in your bullet>cut a bunch of extra notches in it>expose all the internals>shit don't work so good anymore>spend the next 50 years blaming magazines, feed ramps, too much/too little spring tension, limp wristing, death gripping, sand in your vagina>suddenly there's a gorillion new kinds of gun to deal with a self-inflicted problemWhy don't we just go back to what works and then focus on aiming properly instead of creating problems for no reason. Cheaper too and it doesn't get toxic chemicals all over your hands while handling it.
I don't know why there isn't more ballistic tip Hollow points, the ammo still expands without the aforementioned problems.
>>65126988if only there was some kind of material we could place in the voidperhaps a less dense and softer material than lead, maybe something cheap, or injection moldabletoo bad thats impossible
every problem solved
>>65127065Came here to post this.Everything that came after is pure cope.
>>65127567>9mm: 1901>FuddyFive NAACP: 1904oof-da!
>>65126988>change the ogive>"wtf these magazines are shit my gun keeps jamming!"
>>65127577And yet, 9mmtards are still coping with hollow points. Even they don't believe in their own chambering as it was designed.
>>65127589>>65127577>nooooo fuddy five and .380 are unc cartridges, theyre obsolete and old and theyre meant for old grandpas who cant let go of the past!!!I wonder if 9mmlets think 9mm was designed in 1999 or something
>>65127005You might as well dream of sending men to the moon! Crazy!
>>65127607>9mm was designed in 1999Hello? It has a 9 in the name!
>>65126988>spend the next 50 years blaming magazines, feed rampsOkay but 1911 USGI spec magazines have feed lips that legitimately were designed for the ball ammo geometry and work beautifully for that purpose but could see issues with wadcutters and JHPs.And the 1911 barrel link recycles a Browning design with two links, which keeps the barrel horizontal during recoil, the 1911 uses only one link so the barrel has to tilt and include a feed ramp to guide the next cartridge, this design is a compromise and did shit the bed with JHPs.When you're dealing with anything designed after Browning's death it's getting into the realm of cope, but the fuddlore you mention was true when it came to the 1911 platform.
