Are there any actually charismatic, funny gun youtubers (or old gun TV shows) with normie appeal? Something I can put on to make my 9 year old less afraid of guns. Guns really need their own Top Gear imo
Demolition Ranch sounds like the sort of normie oriented "top gear with guns" stuff that you are after. Unfortunately, the creator left youtube a year or so ago to focus on IRL things so his channel's (very large) back catalogue is all you are going to get of him.

>WATCH THE GUNTUBER TIMMY. WASN'T THAT SKIT FUNNY? AREN'T GUNS COOL? 4chan.org/r/weapons PROMISED ME THAT YOU WOULD FIND THIS RELATABLE AND APPROPRIATEfreak behavior. I weep for the generations raised by millenials
>>65127296Don't worry, I lied. I don't have a 9 year old, I just wanted recommendations for my own infantile arrested development genetic dead end self
>>65127228>Guns really need their own Top Gear imoThere was an attempt by the NRA and it featured Colion Noir. The issue is that Top Gear sits at an intersection that is difficult to replicate:- Car ownership is widespread and part of daily life- There's a lot of interest on luxury and sports cars most will never get the chance to own.- Three hosts with chemistry and wit.Even if you generally do not give a shit about cars most people can sit down and watch an episode of Top Gear.A gun Top Gear would be gun news (already covered by your usual /k/ browsing, reddit, youtube), "funny" skits someone else already did 10 years ago, mythbusters style tests like Carlos Hathcock shooting through the scope or JFK shooting reenactments, and more fucking 3-gun/2-gun/USPSA challenges between the hosts or a D-list celebrity that agreed to get involved (possibly pressured by Taran Butler after training at his range for a role in a The Daily Wire direct-to-streaming movie). Add hosts that don't have even a tenth of the chemistry of the Top Gear trio and you have straight dogshit. It's already difficult to get a gun enthusiast to care about this, someone who isn't already a gun owner isn't gonna sit down and watch.
>>65127714And it's just hard to replicate top gear since like 90% of the appeal is just the chemistry of Clarkson, May, and Hammond. Even when we tried to make top gear American it didn't work because the host trio just didn't have the same charisma. It's legimately an impossible combination to replicate, straight lighting in a bottle those bongs had. Even if you could get the program to be perfect in terms of entertainment, without a power trio it'll never work
