So, is Russia capable of spamming strategic bombers irl?
>>65128016No.
>>65128016>Grisha
>>65128034what kind of sealants do they use that survive being exposed for years in harsh weather?
>>65128170
>>65128016 and i thought my life sucked, there are people wiuth 10k hours in hoi4
>>65128016>Dankus
>>65128016>kraut has top hours in what is essentially a Microsoft Excel simulatorKekaroo
>>65128016>grishaDidn't he get kicked from Bokoen's group for zigging out?
>>65128405Well yeah, the dude joined Wagner to become their official HOI4 streamer, he zigged out about as hard as you can zig
>>65128370>10k hours in hoi4Just...fuck.Okay. HOI4 was released in 2016, so around 3,650 days ago. That's 2-3/4 hours per diem, if you played it literally every single day.You literally would need to play it almost 3 hours per day, EVERY DAY SINCE IT'S INCEPTION, to hit those hours.
>>65128418????? Are you bad at math?
>>65128420are YOU?
>>65128423And what if I am bad at math?
>>65128427Well then you should really look into taking some extra classes, math is important and will help you in the real world
People only rack up thousands of hours in Paradox games because Paradox is constantly completely overhauling how the core mechanics of their game work with each DLC they shit out that you basically have to relearn how to play the entire game
>>65128432and that's a good thing
>>65128420I don't know anon, am I?
>>65128432>you basically have to relearn how to play the entire gameMaybe if you focus on multiplayer and meta, but for a casual player having a tank designer (or whatever the latest DLC added) doesn't change very much. The basics are still very much the same, at least for HoI4. Can't speak for other Paradox games.
>>65128418some people leave the game and afk to do life stuffI have 8k hours in some games and actual play time is near the 3-4k range
>>65128409>the dude joined Wagner to become their official HOI4 streamerI fucking hate this decade sometimes man
>>65128508We're now on the 4th iteration of Stellaris, they've overhauled core mechanics multiple times and show no intention of stopping.
>>65128558Last played that in July 2024. Outside of the obligatory dozen new DLCs, what mechanics have been completely overhauled since?
>>65128587Pretty much everything in 4.0The entire economic and combat system, as usual with zero play testing so 4.1 and 4.2 have been sweeping fixes to try and balance it, as usual
>>65128532Only people I know who do shit like that get blackout drunk and forget to turn the game off.
>>65128170lmao he doesn't know >russian transport that just folded up like a camping chair mid air for lack of maintenance.gif
The issue with this 'game' is that it was Russia vs NATO.... With no USA. This means that unless European NATO can make major gains early on, you just lose because the game's entire industry base works on space (i.e, how many factories you can build in an area) and Europe is completely full and there is no space to expand into unless you invade your neighbours. So Grisha just mass builds in the huge space that Russia has, spams the cheese brigades that beat the game, while the NATO players had to argue over who got oil. The fact some of their players didn't even bother to build an airforce is why Grisha lost like 80k soldiers and NATO lost over a million. You need the USA to counter in these type of games because they have the space to mass build industrial capacity and spit out the cheese brigades. It's not like it is 'unfair' because they gotta transport those units, but people like Grisha wouldn't want to deal with invasions in the East and as a Russian player, dealing with just the European theatre is really easy when you micro mass spam CAS.
>>65128554>only way to not be a loser and die on the frontlines is be a loser promoting the frontlinesthat's about as russian as it can get
>>65128708It's almost like the whole thing was very skewed one way as a 'NATO WITHOUT the US vs Russia in a video game where morale doesn't exist and supplies are a feel good measure' to make the russian feel nice about himself
>>65128712And it didn't help, as I said, that there was literal 'self sabotage' tier shit, with players with supposedly 10k hours in the game not building any aircraft production.
>>65128016>>65128409Does Grisha still stream? I would have thought he would've been driven into forced retirement or sent to the frontlines after Prigo's roadtrip towards Moscow
>>65128708>>65128712IIRC even without that Russia is unreasonably overpowered in the mod and steamrolls Europe as an AI almost every time
>>65128592Didn't they make changes to population mechanic to make game run smoother only to end up with even worse performance?
>>65128712>to make the russian feel nice about himselfWe're talking about the mod that has bike assaults and small team infiltration tactics be part of "Western Doctrine" with a description that boils down to "our enemies may make fun of us for this but if it works it works)))))" I could probably pick out more shit like this but I haven't played the mod in a good while. Point is the dev team has butthurt ziggers in it.
>>65128708> Russia vs NATO.... With no USASo, realistic
>>65130764Even then the odds are heavily skewed in favor of EU/NATO. Russia's 120mil pop vs. Something like 500mil. Russia's italy-sized GDP vs one of the richest, most productive economic blocs on the planet. Russian "air force" vs. actual modern fighters, AWACS, munitions. Russian "navy" vs. EU navies' carrier groups, helicopter carriers, numerous smaller vessels, numerous frigates and destroyers. The game simply doesn't model this reality.
