They're terrible in general. Paper targets are fucking boring, the ventilation will almost inevitably be shit, and there WILL be a [deleted] in the next lane over magdumping a 6" 300 blackout with a muzzle brake (paid for by you in the form of unlawful EBT resale).
They're bad, but lead is like 10x worse for kids than for adults, and keep in mind most gun people are sub-95 IQ mouth breathers anyway so it's not like anyone is going to notice if they get a little dumber.

I shoot indoors before the rentoids show up. Normally its just guys with CCs and a couple intermediate rifles, maybe a Garand.
