The second battle of Grozny showed how effective RPGs are when used against the roof, drones allow they to hit the roof without a commie block to fire RPGs from.

But to give you a legit and tangible answer as why drones are more successful than man launched top attacks is arming distance. Troops will fire on tanks rolling down the same street they are on to get effective top down. Those makes engagement much closer and many AT weapons will not even activate that close. I can recall one clip of this in the current Russian war. Drones on the other hand can bypass the arming distance. Every hit will trigger a detonation as long as the fuse works regardless of how far it has flown.
