Naah they are dogshit. We tried them in Finland back in 2001-2003 and they are absolute garbage. They completely lack any creativity or even reasonable reactions to clearly visible threats. It's like they have difficulties with basic pattern recognition. It's not that they can't think (I mean they obviously can't) but they can't even understand a difference between a human and a mannekin. Not to mention they are super slow to do anything even if you have someone giving them orders. Fuck the stiffs. Even children make better soldiers than them.

>>65146005Zombs have been using tools and weapons since Night of the Living Dead and guns by Day of the Dead at least, I generally apply basic Romero rules when I think about zombs because he more or less invented them. I'd assume the necromancer has to stay somewhat nearby given most depictions of magic if they want the highest level of control, otherwise they're probably equivalent to a retard with or w/o a gun walking in some direction you pointed at. If you give the enemy time to really dig in you probably fucked up to some degree, but you also have the advantage of unconventional attack strategies like maybe surfacing from underwater in mass Pirates of the Carribean style or raiding the nearby undefended town for a whole extra army to throw at them as a distraction. I'd suppose if you could get close enough unnoticed you could raise the dead from inside their own defensive perimeter, depends on how magic works.>>65146014A few hundred bodies will stack over concertina eventually, they're basically free. Unfortunately unless the necromancer is just shielded by a pile of zombies or in Saddam Hussain's hiding spot I dont think there's a reasonable counter to fpv or air support unless you can instruct and equip a ghoul to wait around with some sort of AA, which doesn't seem reassuring.
