Delta might have used M141s to deal with the MG nests rather than use tanks, and they may have had access to IED jammers by that point (not sure if they had anything, IEDs were a post-05 thing. Bongs had IED jammers in North Ireland in the 90s, but idk if that had cross pollinated to the US by 2004); which could have significantly reduced casualties from the rigged explosives; but then at least some of them were wired. But unless there was a US blocking force controlling the scene in place of local police, you're still going to angry parents charging in and causing chaos.
