One of the things to come from this war has been the prevalence and importance of MRAP-type heavy vehicles and the need for them at basically all times. Ukraine's gotten a medley of types from all over the world; will Ukraine be able to manufacture MRAPs itself at scale?

Albania can give them the Shota

This clearly was an HE not HEAT warhead.

Well, yes, sure, but seriously, it does seem like MRAPs are an extremely important piece of kit for all militaries these days. Maybe if nations can't build tanks or treaded IFVs, they will still want to invest the time and effort into building domestic MRAPs and other fighting vehicles with similar protection and mobility characteristics.

I want to fuck a Ukrainian model in the back of that kirpi.

You're saying this like it's not essentially just a regular old consumer truck with armor slapped on. Countries can generally sort that all out, or buy it easily enough if they can't. They threw fuckloads of MRAPs at ukraine because of surplus and how easy they are politically and legally to export because, again, trucks.

Ukraine had MRAP manufacturing even before 2022. AFAIK a lot of them were based on US components derived from heavy duty pickup trucks.

Yep. The MaxxPro is pretty damn impressive too. Same with the British ones. Those vehicles are great.

My question is, where are the Russian MRAPs? I've seen them being used in Africa, but the past 2 years it seems theyve completely disappeared from Ukraine
>>
>>65145590
To a degree I think they are a bit specialized when it comes to mine protection at least. Still, I suppose you're right, on the whole. I just feel like now more than ever everybody's going to need a lot of them.

Ukraine produces like 5 different JLTV and MRAP equivalents or something

I've seen a regular SUV eat a light FPV to the front while parked. It was a volunteer doing evacuations of the retards who decided to wait the fighting out and then changed their minds. People inside were fine, but the car wouldn't start ever again.

We don't really know the damage done to the mrap.

Not sure you do. Our women are a coinflip on whetherel you get a nice one or a witch that wants to castrate you. My mother is a nice one, but I chose to cast my net winder and go international. Don't get me wrong, all women will be a piece of work, but some more than others.

If you're dead set on one you have my blessing and I wish you luck. Go with the gods.

I've seen the same with donated Ford Rangers that were armored up, russians were treating a disabled one with awe because of the bulletproof glass

You're describing a IMV/ASV, something like a Roshel Senator.
Though many vehicles called IMV/ASV are just also MRAPs.
But making the thing mine resistant is just a notch more expensive and complicated.
You're essentially right though, the category is booming worldwide because if your country can coach build, it can probably produce ISVs and from there, can probably make an MRAP.

It helps that all the really difficult parts (RWS, armor, V hull, etc) are available from more advanced countries so the whole thing can be legoed together, ideally with more and more domestic stuff subbed in as your industry gets it's legs.

33y/o Canadian of romanian origin. Where and how can I find a tall beautiful ukrainian woman? I'm a 5/10 at best but always wanted to date above my league

yeah not necessarily impressive since there are tons of these frag drones with no armor penetration hoping to pick off infantry or soft skin vehicles.
does highlight the importance of converting almost all logistical and transport vehicles to have at least a basic layer of armor

NTA but check out places where college chicks hang out. I live in a fairly small midwestern American city, but he university let Ukrainian refugees (pretty much all women) attend for free and theres tons of hot Ukrainian refugee girls at the gym I go to.

>yeah not necessarily impressive since there are tons of these frag drones with no armor penetration hoping to pick off infantry or soft skin vehicles.
In fairness, those shitty frag drones are everywhere. Zelenski mentioned a couple days ago that, in a single sector, there were around 10k drone attacks in the span of two days.

Since their ability to produced you mean, surely?
