>>65146176If you want the joker gif you could just ask
>>65146176Has a buntline ever been used professionally, or is it just a fictionalized novelty item?
>>65146202Does he use it as a daily carry?
But honestly: could it be used for daily carry? The idea of attaching a flag and bringing it out if needed is so funny.
>>65146176With a shoulder holster and a coat that's long enough you could. You'd be as obvious as a "gray man," though.
>>65146327So you are saying it's possible?
>>65146206The name "Buntline" specifically refers to a fictional novelty item. It didn't come about until the 1930's when it was created by a Western-themed fiction writer, Stuart Lake. According to Lake's fiction, a person named Ned Buntline commissioned the guns and presented them to five famous western lawmen. This is demonstrably not true. Colt's production records exist, and nobody by the name of Buntline ever ordered any guns. And, some of the famous characters who supposedly were gifted a Bunline weren't even in the profession at the time it supposedly happened. So the original story is BS.However, back in the day it was possible to special-order Colts with super long barrels and detachable stocks. A handful of those guns were made, they just weren't called "Bunlines" until much later. If anything people would have called them a "buggy rifle" back in the day. There are a lot of modern reproductions from as far back as the 1950's.
>>65146751>possibleCan you fucking read? >t. not even him
>>65146176Possible? I suppose. Practical? No. Gay? Yes. If you're going to go full meme then go full meme. Order yourself a Magnum Research BFR in .500 S&W with a 20 inch barrel.
