CNN is reporting that the Ursas Major was carrying 2 nuclear sub reactors possibly bound for North Korea according to the ship captain. Do you think it was a trade of desperation or insanity?

You have to be able to offer something really good if you want a country to commit its own troops to your disastrous war. Naval reactors would do it.
Im sure norktard will chime in with some context.

Again?

Is this a case of pic related from CNN or do they have something new to say?
>>
>>65148689
Yeah we already knew this
>was it a trade of desperation
Yes. Kim has Russia by its balls. If they cut off munitions shipments, Russia loses over half of their artillery shells

IIRC, there was a recorded above-background event when the ship went down that fueled a lot of speculation. Apparently the impetus for the video is that Spain is now officially claiming that the captain declared that he was transporting reactors when they debriefed the crew during search and rescue.
>>
>>65148720
I believe the Spanish were saying that the Captain and a lot of the crew were really dodgy when their authorities started asking what sort of cargo they were carrying and it was only until the Spaniards started pushing back and threatening legal trouble on the crew that they started squealing what they were actually carrying
>>
Did ukies sink that ship?
>>

wikipedia claims kraut space magic might damaged it so bad, her own convoi ships sunk her. russkies were busy blowing up the wreck afterwards. they dont even have a translation for aforementioned kraut space magic so far.

Ah yes, the Red October "catapillar drive". Where was Sean Connery?

Might have been japanese torpedoboats

I though Japanese torpedo boats mostly hang out mostly in the North Sea, not the Mediterranean.
>>
>>65149435
It's a rocket-powered supercavitating torpedo.
Unlike the Soviet/Russian Shkval this one coulld actually steer itself, and had a sonar sensor buillt into the 'head' that was in contact with the water.

But it never got beyond the prototype stage. 12 examples made almost 20 years ago, according to the wiki page.
How you jump from this to 'it sunk a Russian ship in 2025 in the Med!' is beyond me.

Germany also tried to build an underwater point defense system, that used far smaler projectiles. It also didn't work, or rather lacked the range to blow up torpedoes at a safe distance consistently.

That one will never get old, but realistically it was just Ukie drones.

Just like a mobnik

>being Russia they sink an empty ship that's suppose to have the payment on it

Isn't Atlas Elektronik still developing the SeaSpider?

"Japanese torpedo boats could be here", he thought.
>>
>>65149416
krauts were under scholz the commie at the time, they wouldn't have had the political balls to do it. I think for once sleepy joe might've actually lived up to the memes and gone full cold war warrior in a moment of lucidity and ordered the ship to be sunk before it could supply the norks with sub reactors.
>>
>>65149443
I didnt know Zinovy Rozhestvensky's grand grand gran grand grand son was the ships captain
>>
Interesting to note that right after this happened they started cutting the reactors out of two Akulas.
>>
>>65149223
Russians are believed to have struck the ship at least twice before the ship sent out distress signals
