Now they're being sent back to the US.

Is there a plan? Because it seems like there is no plan.

To be honest, a Cavalry brigade might indeed not be needed that much in Poland - if anything their conventional land force is already decently built up.
Ballistic missile defense, long range cruise missiles and of course nukes are significantly more important.

The pentagon already ran out of money for the year. They blew it all on Iran and the photo-ops deployments on the border and DC.

So there's only a plan as far as there's a plan for the Iran War, which means there's literally no plan.

The US spent all of those in Iran. They're stripping BMD systems out of Korea and Europe to try and backfill the Persian Gulf while missile stocks are absolutely tanked for the next 5 years. Even if they wanted to send those systems, they don't have any to spare.

>US turns Europe into a supine dependency by removing their defense capability
>Americans cry about how the Europeans are a supine dependency with no defense capability
Building a monopoly on force in Europe by providing their defense was a deliberate choice made by successive American governments as part of a grand strategy to build the American hegemony in the region. The Europeans don't have militaries because the US didn't want them to. That allowed the US to dictate the foreign policy of the Europeans and wring economic concessions out of them. This has been American policy for generations and only accelerated after the Cold War.

Stop being an infant.
Do you think the US Dollar became the world reserve currency because people liked the portraits on them? Do you think they went along with our retarded GWOT adventures because they liked our company? Do you think they took all those bonds we were shoving down their throats during the 2008 crisis because they thought they were a great investment?

It never was. That was a European policy after the USSR fell. The US had been bitching at them to maintain their militaries but Europe and especially Germany said that it didn't matter now that the USSR was gone. There's a reason it took Germany so fucking long to actually acknowledge the Russian Federation as a threat after Crimea. It took Russia invading Ukraine proper for them to finally realize that they were wrong.

A surprisingly concise analysis of how American Empire worked. Exported security, in return get influence.
Do note the past tense, because Trump flushed that whole thing down the toilet, along with a whole catalogue of other instruments of US soft power.

America will remain Europe's best trading partner, but even that will sour if Trump keeps shrieking about more tariffs (which are just taxes on the US population, paid by US consumers btw)

But the influence will weaken. The winner here is China, mostly because all the US 'allies' in the pacific see how the US treats its most steadfast allies in Europe, and how US troops and weapons immediately disappear when Isreal orders them to the ME.
The US MIC will lose markets, due to Europe buying European, and increasing exports into markets where the US had a share. Some Euro exports will fill the void left by Russia, but most of that will fall to China by default.
Another win for Xi, without doing a thing.

Besides the fact that no one, Rpeublican or democrat, actually wants Ukraine to 'win', as a frozen conflict is always the ideal state for the State Department so they can restart it as they please (see Syria over the last decade), The Iran war was always going to happen, because they our only geopolitical rival other than China, who has nukes. The war with Iran has been in planning since the 80s. You can argue that allowing Israel to rush us into it before we were ready is one thing, but the Iran war is faaaar more strategically relevant to American interests than Afghanistan. If the war was taken seriously, it would be the last war in the middle east we'd need.

Replacement cost isn't cost, it's just jew accountant tricks. Everything has its own value; claiming that your Geforce 970 is worth $600 dollars, because that's the price of the 5070 you want to replace it with, is misleading and dishonest.
>>
>>65154280
If you maintain a set number of equipment in inventory and you have to maintain that specific number in inventory then, yes, the cost of replacing it is the cost.
>>
>>65154267
>becaue sending them home for de-milling and recycling and shit would've been more expensive than to drive them from the depot in Germany to a train bound for Kyiv.
The Abrams and Brad's we sent were pulled from the boneyards and refurbished before sending. We ordered brand new brads to replace the ones we sent.

As for ammunition, the shelf-life argument is pure, unadulterated, retardation and the cost for replacement is usually more than 1:1.
>>
>>65153976
The price estimates for the ballroom?
>>
>>65154281
That's like saying the cost of all those S-3 Vikings stored in the Arizona Boneyard is $2 trillion. Since the USN doesn't have a dedicated carrier-borne MPA anymore, so selling those airframes, instead of having them available for refurbishment, would require the aforementioned expenditure to maintain potential capability. As I've said, that's just jew accounting tricks.

Israel has gotten us into literally every war in the middle east ever and NONE of them were in the US national interest other maybe Gulf War 1.

>frozen conflict is always the ideal state for the State Department so they can restart it as they please (see Syria over the last decade)

This is the kind of faux pseudointellectual nonsense that outs you as a complete utter retard. It's like you started to pay attention to geopolitics exclusively to gobble orange dick harder and never got educated beyond that. I'm sure it's all because of a grandmaster strategy by the same chessmaster of geopolitics that's destroyed America's soft power for literally no reason by being a belligerent asshole over Greenland, bending over for China, and sending billions to Israel without getting anything for it in return.

>the shelf-life argument is pure, unadulterated, retardation
Tell that to the MIC who bribed the US congress to pass these laws, so they would be able to sell the same ammo stockpile again every few years.
Of course the new ammo costs more than the old ammo, line must go up.

The point is that the US spent very little in actual dollars right now, but gave Ukraine a significant amount of equipment that was in storage.
That equipment is on the books valued at whatever it cost years and years ago, but that money was spent all those years ago.
The US now gets to say 'we gave Ukraine so many billion $ of equipment', which is factually true. But it's not money from any US budget this year, or even five years ago. And it was all sitting in depots somewhere, getting turned over once every 30 days.

>Abrams and Brads
Well, the Brads were not new, but mostly from storage in Europe IIRC.

The Abrams were downgraded because US regs required that, something about DU in the armor.
That was literally the US paying more to give Ukraine a worse version of their tank. And the number of Abrams was pretty low, anyway. The US has the lagest tank reserves of the west, and sent fewer tanks than Germany.

Ukraine is defending itself from a true neer-peer foreign invasion and it is very obviously in the national interest to cripple Russia because they literally have nuclear weapons (and hate us) as opposed to only theoretically being able to produce them.

Israel is a constant parasite and needs the funding to steal people's land and continue an illegal occupation. They're not the same.

Israelis and Russians and both part of the same filthy lying verminous scum, both in mentality by claiming victimhood while commiting war crimes and literally by genetics.

The other crucial factor is that the sand war is fucking gay and has produced zero good footage while Ukraine has produced the finest combat footage ever made.

Funding Israel is actively against the US national interest, while none of those other countries you mentioned have ever intentionally murdered US sailors, plotted to bomb allied businesses as a false flag, caught several times spying on us (see Jonathan Pollard, 5 Dancing Israelis, Israeli art student espionage scandal), used money to bribe every politician in the US while blackmailing them, sold our military secrets to China, ect ect

So weird how you shills get really touchy when we mention the funding issue. The US has at least some reason to put the money down in every other case, Israel doesn't deserve further investment, it's a backstabber and the reason we're in this mess. It gives nothing back and even the amount given to Ukraine is dwarfed by our welfare check to Israel and you can't question it or you're an antisemite.

Each can of spam is good for like 1k calories or something, they're tiny as fuck so storage is easy, and they've got like ten different flavors.
Personal faves are maple and Korean bbq.
12 cans of spam is like 35-40$ on Amazon, expiration dates like 3 years out but it will keep for much longer, and it actually tastes a lot better than you'd think of you've never given it a shot.
