>CCTV Doc Leaks China Carrier’s Deadly Problem—Jets Unable to Take Off and Land Simultaneously

How did they manage to make such a big mistake? The design is well know since the 1950s.
>>
I believe only US carriers are the only ones capable of doing both at the same time, but I could be wrong
>>
Do they have nogs putting a whole roll into the bowl and pooing on it.
That is an issue in my country where we give them safety from places where they did the same.
>>

While the QEs are never going to be any sort of sortie rate champion, there isn't a reason you can't land a STOVL plane on the back while STOVL launch happens on the cope ramp.

Also the Chinese carrier is perfectly capable of launching from one of its three catapults while landings are taking place, so it can still launch something, just at half the rate a Nimitz or Ford can.
>>
>>65158337
They simply didn't want to. Probably because they're focusing on one carrier ops aspect at a time (taking off or landing) for training and don't want to bother shuffling the parked planes around. Flankers are YUUUGE. They're as big and as heavy as WWII bombers.
>>
>>65158337
You don't do that, it's more efficient to do flight operations in cycles.
>>

These carriers will never see actual peer combat, they'll be used to intimidate and bludgeon weaker Southeast Asian militaries and do photo-ops exercises on the Taiwan strait.

for a board full of so-called weapons enthusiasts, there's a stark lack of people who actually understand the design and development process for weapons

Considering the average chink twink staffing the People's Liberation Liberating Army of Liberation Navy Army Navy (PLLALNAN), there likely won't be anything straight involved.

China cannot make "good" anything. This has been true since the fucking beginning of time. Why this seems to be a mystery to the internet dumbasses is hilarious.

link says they switch from steam to E-cats, and E-cats are longer, and that fucked up the whole scheme.

also their main fighter is a big fat fuck, and takes up more runway, do doubly fucked because it would need to cross BOTH front cats after landing.

but overall its doesn't seem like it would be too bad if they pay attention with the ballet on deck.

how long to wheel a jet into Cat2 position from where it was sitting to allow landing and hook it up and fling it?

at least they don't got DEI issues

NTA but Trump is the US president that has put the biggest fight against China in the last 50 years. Considering he and 13-15 other CEOs of the largest companies not only in the US but also in the world went to Beijing to do what's basically begging for deals, you can confidently say the Chinese won.
>>
>>65158517
If they had used steam cats as originally planned it would be able to use 2 of them because steam cats require less horizontal space. Right now it cannot use its forward elevator when launching from cat 1, and cats 2 and 3 are in the way of recovery. If it had stuck with steam like everything pre-Ford, it would be able to use its forward elevator and launch from both cats 1 and 2 while also recovering aircraft simultaneously.

extremely low IQ

carriers have different deck configurations based on missions.

If there is a surge in sorties, all the aircraft on deck will block the landing strip and line up for launch. This is normal.

While carriers can theoretically handle simultanous sorties and landings, in operation this is done in phases where it is not done at the same time. Depending on situation, only waist cats are being cleared for use while the landing strip is entirely blocked.

Picrel.
>>
>>65160509
what mission does the chink carrier have? besides being sunk in port, i mean.
>>
>>65160517
Creating local air-cover for China's heavily HGV based surface action groups? J-15s and J-35s carry PL-15/16 long range AAMs and the Fujian has carrier-borne fixed wing AWACS. Very useful to extend the detection and air-defense zone around a fleet of heavy missile destroyers. And having that air-cover will enable the Chinese to exactly prevent those long-range missile attacks aiming to sink their carriers in port, as well as to protect their own ASW planes to hunt for US subs that try the same.

You can read the analysis of US defense analysts yourself, you know? No need to pretend to be retarded.

so accurate they are being emergency fitted with gps protections because their hit rate bottomed to 23% mid 2024 after russians started to use gps jamming

My brother in Christ, in this year before the blessed love of God himself, the Chinese cannot maintain sortie rate to defend their HOMELAND.
And you are suprised the carriers suck.
