With the external appearance or some body kit of the STG-44.
Would it sell well??
>>
No, you stupid fucking idiot
>>
>>65165454
no it won't, it will sell for a brief period and suddenly die out, you'll have more chance making M1 carbines and get a constant flow of money than making STG or FG42 rifles.
there's one company in germany that already make a 1:1 reproduction of these rifles and even the MKB prototypes and they only sell them on demand, so you place your order and wait until the gun is done before you receive it.

probably not
it's HK so it would be through the roof expensive and probably hard to get considering they would do an extremely small run
the only reason there was any hype for the PSA stg was because it would have been affordable

>should the roller delayed blowback tribute/replica thing in 7.92 kurz look like the actual WW2 era 7.92 kurz roller delayed blowback rifle it's family originates from?
>No! Of course not! It should look like the meme one I remember from cawadoody WAW
Why are wehraboos so fucking stupid?
>>
>>65165454
>Would it sell well??
Probably not. The STG-44 concept was revolutionary. They started trying to make something better than a submachine gun and ended up with a gun that could be used as an infantry rifle (even though they hadn't realized it). In practice, however, the STG-44 is more complex than modern assault rifles, and the cartridge it fires is weaker than 7.62x39mm. It'd be a major downgrade to anything we currently have on the market. If you have a cool rifle idea, don't even bother with the 8mm Kurz cartridge.
>>
>>65165454
It didn't even sell well in a caliber that people actually use. Which is a shame, because I want one.
>>
Wasn't there an aftermarket HK in x39 that took AK mags?
>>
>>65166147
PTR 32 yeah. Ugly as sin
>>
Someone tried that back when 33 parts kits were cheap and it was an abysmal failure, thankfully
>>
>>65166147
HK 32 is the factory rifle in 7.62×39mm, built for development only in small numbers 1970s. It was intended as export to nations that used the caliber but Heckler & Koch didn't proceed further with it. The company continued with further developments of 5.56 / HK 33 rifles such as the G41.
PTR may ? have done HK-style conversio of 33s/93s in 7.62×39mm, I know nothing about those.

>7.92×33mm Kurz
so retarded to even entertain this its not even funny
>>
>>65165454
>7.92×33mm Kurz
I just checked you literally cannot find it for sale anywhere besides surplus ammo from WW2 selling 5 CPR or more
>>
>>65165454
>make a gun that is not an STG-44
>in an obscure shitass caliber nobody has
>hurrrrr will this sell?!
The STG-44 doesn't work because nobody actually wants a reproduction because it's a shit gun and an annoying cartridge. Now make it not even a proper reproduction and there's even less reason for anyone to buy it. You might have sold like three to simpletons if it was in 7.62x39, but by chambering it in 7.92x33 you've lost them.

The STG is only worth it if you can get an actual STG. If you're going to make a new one, you are no longer producing a thing with historical value, and it's not old enough for its archaity to be a novelty like with say reproduction revolvers. Instead, you're just making what might as well be any other modern semi-auto rifle, but worse in every way, at 3x the cost.

The DK Production MP44s have been selling well at $6800 a piece.
They also have a MKB42H at $8600.

I have their early MP44 parts kit.
>>
>>65165762
The 45 looks like shit and you'll notice that even SSD, the company that makes exact (if semi-auto) replicas of multiple German firearms doesn't offer a 45 replica

I think privi partizan still does runs of it.
>>
>>65166474
Then why even bother making it in roller delayed blowback in the first place if you're just making something thoughtless?
Just do a piston gun, long or short stroke it clearly doesn't matter.
Purely incidentally, it'll be more accurate to the real thing for what that's worth.

The entire idea of a non-faithful dress up STG-44 in 7.92 has always been retarded. It's an expensive and mediocre caliber in very short supply.
Someone who cares enough to put up with that will probably care enough to want a faithful replica.
>>
>>65166524
I don't disagree, I just gave you the reason why dressing it up as the StG 45 is not an option

You know normally I'd agree but with that but with that volkssturmgewehr replica getting made I'm not so sure there isn't a market.
It'd have to be from someone who already makes roller guns to even have a hope of being profitable tho.
I agree everything before it is horrific but I think the M isn't bad looking.

I'm not really in love with the thing, I just started on a tear because I've heard too many dumbcunts say the HK roller guns are based on the STG-44 when the actual story is right there and interesting in it's own right.

PTR makes the 32 in x39 and the 63 in x45.
I am surprised they don't have a .300blk offering yet.

has in mind. Kind of.
>>
>>65167838
Just make it in .300blk, move the front sight forward and move the charging handle to the receiver, so you pull the bolt, instead of push.
If they really wanted; make the lower receiver with an integrated grip and out of sheet metal instead of the polymer 1 piece or metal 2 pieces that exist now.
Swap the rear diopeter for a more forward mounted AK notch sight.
