Easiest way is buy a castle or build one:1. Have a generator and camera systems that show every entry point. If possible have cameras on street showing avenues of approach. My camera system alerts to movement within 10 feet of the house for instance on anything the size of a person. The generator stops the power from being cut.2. All windows should have bars. This prevents someone from trying to simply climb through a window. The closer the bars the better as this will also stop tear gas grenades from being shot through the window. If possible windows should also be made of lexan. 3. Change your front door and frame to expensive hardwood. Those old hardwood doors with a proper deadbolt are really hard for a hand ram to bash open. They will try to hand ram it and will fail. This is your knock on the door and have time to get ready. The largest cities will have vehicle rams.4. If possible (Depending on where you live) have a simple four foot wide ditch or moat. Only needs to be two feet deep with straight walls. This will temporarily stop any vehicle mounted rams as they will have to bridge the gap. 5. Put a cage (think prison cell) just inside the front and back doors just big enough for 6 guys. They breach the door and funnel into the cage. They are in the open and sitting ducks and will be forced to back out all the while in the open. 6. This all will slow them down to a stand still, for awhile. Have a tunnel escape to just outside the perimeter. Easiest way is to secretly own a house across the back yard. Have a nondescript SUV in the garage.

A steel folding gate on the inside of the house that retracts into/pulls out of a pocket next to all doors. Even if they break the door off the hinges, it'll be up against the gate behind it and the flexibility of the gate will absorb/disperse further blows to the door with a ram.
