It's not too complex of a fighting system. Run, slash, shoot with your floating pod, run away, wait for your turn to strike, slash, shoot with your pod...you get it. If you know the game Drakengard, the whole nier timeline happened because of ending (E) of Drakengard. The timeline is genuinely insane. If you love dystopian horror and depressing concepts that make you ponder existence, definitely go for it.
