Lets start working on an elbows up militia man load out plan. Its important that we give our brave trans neighbours the information they need to safely confront and defeat stryker convoys.
>Assault rifle: cooey .25 cal shorts. Highly accurate, patriotic, carbon neutral, quick reloads, the extra .03 calibres give you the penetrating power needed to take on modern armour, the reduced powder charge maintains lethality while reducing recoil, and everyone knows the ammo is available everywhere. Deadly out to 1 mile this rifle should be the right hand of every lgbtq2s warrior on the unceded land of Turtle Island.

Built my own straight pull shotgun, pretty fun to shoot and you can fire as fast as a pump action when you get good at it. Although i'd personally opt for a Troy straight pull, the Beretta still looks neat, reminds me of a Lee-Navy.

They need to un-bob the hammer, and optionally even make it a double action. It would make the lever entirely redundant, but give you the option on what kind of fun you want to have. (clearly being a gun thats intended more for fun, than practicality anyway)

Makasi bros...it's wkek tier

>The most significant issue without even firing the rifle is that the charging handle gets wedged under the handguard when you pull back and release it. This issue requires the shooter to mortar the rifle to remedy the problem, but it'll happen again the next time you charge the rifle.

>Not to even mention the Picatinny and M-LOK rails are out of spec, the misaligned handguard cross bolts are forced through the barrel nut, no thread locker used, gas key isn't staked, gas valve spring pin is inappropriately sized and falls out, fit and finish is poor, etc.

>here's a photo of the charging handle slide that wedges itself under the handguard. Metal is chipping and peening on both components. Even if enough clearance is created between the two parts, the bolt carrier engagement pin on the charging handle assembly will slam into the front of the charging handle slot, and the charging handle detent will not be aligned with the circular depression shown in this photo.

I guess I'm glad I didn't pre-order. It's a shame, since I wanted a Makasi rather than a Carmel.

The solution to that would be to mill away a portion of the handguard, not even by a lot, just shaving maybe .03-.06” off of the inside of it. Also possibly creating more clearance with the charging handle slot.

It would be funny if he were. But Canada is best understood as a chain of loosely interconnected regional links. The far side of the rockies is one, the prairies and far north another, eastern Canada across to quebec a third, the french islands in an anglo sea, and then the maritimes. Each of these areas is so distinct from one and other that they are basically unique countries in their own right. The prairies are heavily central european/slavic (hence the east treats them as racial inferiors) with a good dose of wagon burner thrown in. Ontario is more celtic, britannic, american, dutch; quebec is a trailer park of incest founder effects so everyone looks like Celine Dion after a 48 hour bender at the casino, and the maritimes are hill billy and white trash sailor types. If not for imperial structure none of these regions would have any reason to be confederated with each other. In fact they don't even like each other very much as it is. Everyone has defaulted to the SKS for obvious reasons (its one of the best guns God ever inspired a race of human beings to build) but gear wise they all have different hunting cultures. Prairie folk would be in mossy oak duck hunting camo, ontario in flecktarn, quebec in court robes demanding money for haitian trans-sexuals, the maritimes in flannel and snowmobile pants, and BC in a poncho with a dream catcher in their pocket. The veteran factor brings some standardization of gear (vests etc) but it doesn't have much of an impact on regional concealment wardrobes.
>All of the immigrant populations were excluded because none of them have any meaningful service or hunting culture. A bunch of idiots shooting at the sky are dangerous but the only structure they will ever create is a narco-terrorism group (which they already have everywhere they went). From a security perspective the scoped hunting rifles of farmers and hunt camps are a million times more important than ghetto gangs who don't have access to fresh water.

Honestly the amount of jeets on r*ddit with zero mechanical understanding or sympathy is maddening.
There are retards on that reddit board who utterly mangled their x95 gas systems when trying to change the charging handle out because they couldn't be bothered to read the worlds most basic instructions, then claimed that the x95s are all junk.
>tl;dr just make your own opinions about things

This is classic fuddlore.

The claim that Chinese 7.62x54mmR (or surplus 54r in general) was "meant for a PKM" and is unsafe or unsuitable for rifles is a widespread gun-range myth.

Why It's Fuddlore

1. Standard Military Specification: Most imported Chinese surplus 7.62x54r is standard light ball (~147–148 grain, steel core), manufactured by factories like Factory 31 or 71. It was produced for general military issue across all 7.62x54r platforms—including bolt-action rifles (Type 53 / Mosin-Nagant), DMRs (Type 79 / Type 85 / SVD clones), and machine guns (Type 67, Type 80 PKM clone).

2. The "Hot MG Ammo" Myth: A very common piece of fuddlore claims that military surplus ammo is "overpressured machine gun ammo" designed to destroy civilian rifles. Standard 7.62x54r operates within normal pressure limits (~50,000–56,000 PSI) and is safely fired in Mosin-Nagants and other 54r rifles.

Where the Myth Came From (The Kernel of Truth)

1. Heavy Ball in Semi-Autos: Heavy ball 7.62x54r (~180+ grain, like yellow-tip surplus) generates higher momentum and gas volume, which can cause violent cycling, rear trunnion battering, or receiver cracking in certain semi-automatic rifles with non-adjustable gas systems (like the Romanian PSL or SVT-40). However, this is a mechanical wear issue for specific semi-autos, not an issue of high chamber pressure, and it doesn't apply to standard light ball Chinese surplus.

2. Belted Ammo Misunderstandings: Surplus ammo pulled from machine gun belts often gets rumors attached to it simply because of how it was packed, despite containing the exact same standard cartridges.
>>
>>65359823
The solution is not to pull the ammo from the belts, but instead convert the rifle to feed from belts. a problem solved.
>>
>>65359823
then why are people saying the primers are too hard for an Svt40 if they are supposedly designed for one

>>65359611
True I was wearing a tshirt, last time I shot it I shot using red box norinco ammo which I assumed was the same shit but it didn't seem to recoil much then, although I was wearing a smersh that time. I was trying to rip a 12" gong at 100 yards sitting and offhand and it was hard to see my impacts with the recoil, I could only manage to score a hit every few shots. I have noticed with my nugget the front site seems really long or high and there's no way to adjust it down so maybe its arsenal zero isn't helping.
>>
>>65360604
That sounds like some fun plinking. Arsenal standard was 0 at 200m iirc, so its likely a foot high at 100m and 300m. Best practice is to always aim at the bottom of the center of mass, so someone is going to score a critical wound (thighs up) out to 500m+ if they hold it on a guy's belt buckle. Its a big round so catching that on a bone would feel like running into a sledgehammer. I don't think there is any way to raise the front post so any adjustments you make will only make your first zero farther out. If you have access to any decent outdoor space for shooting, in particular a pond or lake so you can track your impacts, you may be better off going for a 500m zero. It will be very very high at 100m but the round can handle the distance. It would make more sense to keep it as a long distance skill trainer and just plink with an sks since you can adjust the sights easily for close range. Good luck anon.
>>
>>65359823
Lmao.
Try using it with your SVT, surely you have one right anon?

>>
>>65360977
Nah 7.62x54 out of a mosin, if it were zeroed at 200, would probably only be like an inch and a half high at 100 and low at 300. The sights being graduated at 100 - 1200 makes a random 200 m battle zero make no sense. Not sure about the long range viability of a rifle & ammo combo that has questionable ability to even hit reliably at 100 yards

Anon we just had a 'mass' shooooter who died 1-1 specifically because he was struggling with his strippers.
He needed the assistance of a female officer to help him get the kill count up.
>>
>>65361788
If he had managed to reload sooner, he probably would've been the one who got shot by that cop. stripper clips got a jew executed that day, and made the event an embarrassment for the police and govt. preventing the shooting from being weaponized against us.

Build quality of the metal is certainly better, wood stock is nice, longer sight radius, longer barrel. SKS has last round hold open where the AK doesnt.
If both are semi auto civilian guns the select fire question is moot, and while the SKS is 10 rounds with standard magazine vs the AK's 30, adding a duckbill mag to the SKS and keeping it captive in the gun makes it equal.
While the AK is faster to reload, i think the SKS has a beautiful advantage in not needing expensive, bulky magazines and instead being fed by inexpensive compact stripper clips.
>>
>>65361833
Ak can mount optics in a non shitty way unlike the sks

Some of them do. They aren’t all the same.
>>

True but the ergonomic advantages + 30 round removable magazines make the akm a clear winner. There’s a reason why everyone replaced them with that type of rifle.

But there's also the fact that wars aren't won based on who has a ten round mag vs thirty. Guerilla warfare was specifically developed to mitigate the downsides of inferior equipment. But even in conventional warfare, a squad armed with SKSs wouldn't be at a significant disadvantage IF they were supplemented with enough machine guns and other support. Pic related.
>>
>>65361856
tabuk sniper rifles apparently had 21.5” barrels so there might be some secret sauce in increasing the barrel length
modern howa bolt actions in that caliber come in 22” barrels so some kind of secret must be out
>>
>>65361885
If I had to put money down on an sks squad vs an akm squad I would go with akm because of sheer volume of fire
>>
>>65361885
That’s true but the meta has been intermediate rifles with 30 round magazines for over half a century for a reason. All things being equal a squad with stgs replacing your bolti bois would mog the mauser bros. Again all things being equal. If I was arming a group I’d go ak over sks, if I was going to war I’d choose ak over sks. Also muh mags are expensive, idk buy 10-15 and I doubt you’ll run out for the rest of your life.
>>
>>65361902
In the pic you replied to, there's an MG42. I'll take one of those over 10 AKM niggas.
>>
>>65361890
Designing a gun is a series of compromises, If your goal is to squeeze as much reach as possible out of a given cartridge, then you are willing to sacrifice some portability to do so, but having a longer barrel is not ideal, and the tradeoff is steep with a cartridge like x39, that doesnt benifit much from the extra length.

The only raisin for the tabuk sniper rifles to exist was the availability of the ammo and chambering. if logistics werent such an issue they wouldve gone with somthing more suited to the job.

Whats the thought process behind giving the group leader the only CQB gun?
I can't imagine he'd be the first one you'd want rushing into buildings.
>>
>>65361890
>>65361928
Apparently the Tabuk was based on the RPK, so it was easiest to just use a standard RPK barrel, which was importantly heavier than an AK barrel, and the velocity increase was a (probably insignificant) bonus. I believe the main reason the RPK had a long barrel was sight radius, not velocity.
>>
>>65361975

>>
>>65362001
yeah it seems they took a break for a couple weeks, now they've been hassling people again, i'm in contact with a few people and there seems to be a consistent pattern
these fuckers trespass too
my boomer friend who has a house with no trespassing signs on gates had them go all the way into her back yard etc, opening no trespassing gates
in BC you're not allowed to enter someone's yard under any circumstances, and federally if you have a sign that makes it trespassing

in my case, they sneak into my apartment building behind residents coming in
it's fucking insane
>>
>>65361975
that's literally what squad leaders are supposed to do
>>
>>65361975
My guess is they didn't think of it as an "assault" gun in the interwar period, it was more of a sidearm small enough to be conveniently carried because actual long-distance marksmanship (the main source of lethal firepower according to older doctrine) would be the job of the rifleman. The commander would have a submachine gun for personal defense at close quarters, but would be assumed to be doing more commanding than shooting.
>>
>>65361995
they need your info to calculate how many jeets they can relocate into your neighborhood
>>
>>65361975
>Whats the thought process behind giving the group leader the only CQB gun?
Because in the interwar period the squad leader in most armies was the only person trusted not to immediately magdump all their ammo with an automatic.
You see the same thing with revolvers like the Bodeo/Nagant being single action only for enlisted, with the double action version reserved for officers.

You are a terrible shot? Go get a single shot .22 and practice gongs at 50m. You probably have a bad flinch or posture problem and need to relearn your body mechanics. Or the barrel on your rifle is bent. Or the sights are out. Fix yourself first and then focus on the gun.

Haven’t shot a Type 81, but I have shot AK’s, SKS’s and Vz858’s

AK’s do shoot nicely, but the lack of bolt hold open is a detriment. I would say that VZ’s are nicer than AK’s in my experience, I love SKS’s and think they have traits that do make them better. Would you rather carry 10 30 round AK mags or 30 stripper clips? How about storing those ten empty Ak mags in a dump pouch, or 30 stripper clips in a pouch? The bayonet also makes a good monopod. The SKS may not be a better combat rifle than the detachable mag Combloc rifles, but it excels as a survival rifle, truck gun, the milled receiver is definitely superior to a stamped one.

NFA joining in after calling the appeal pointless is funny as fuck. Fun fact the NFA only spent $182 on the last election.
>just let me have my Brens back you fucks
>>
>>65361785
Every military on the planet also has a tax payer funded logistical supply chain, if troops lose mags in the field it’s no skin off their dick. I keep a dump pouch on my battle belt, along with 8 AR mags on the belt, an additional 3 on my plate carrier, 6 in a bandolier and one in my rifle. Even my dump pouch maybe only holds 10 mags if I stuff it. Stripper clips have some advantages, one being they take up WAY less space and weigh much less than magazines do.

Also, say that you hypothetically loose your magazines, your rifle be it an AR, AK, Type 81 what ever it might be without mags is effectively turned into a single shot, an SKS without stripper clips can still be loaded.

And to think, when I was in my teens and twenties and playing in bands, I had the police called on me over noise complaints probably about half a dozen times. In the one instance where it wasn’t permitted and the noise complaint wasn’t unfounded my neighbour had the decency to at least come and complain directly to me while not calling the cops(moving away house party, neighbour was cool liked hunting) and he felt bad about it the following day so went and got a gift certificate for a local music store for like $50 which I used to partially pay for another effects pedal, a Boss Octave pedal.

I will say as well, while the music I made was loud, it at least didn’t sound fucking lame like that stuff. Was either Post Hardcore Mathrock, Doom Metal, psych rock or noise depending on the band.

These Jamboys have no decency, they play their shitty music on Bluetooth speakers on hiking trails. The SKS is probably better for civilian applications since it's sleeker, typically more accurate. Top loading rounds is handy for shooting at a range or even potentially hunting since you don't have to worry about stacking up mags. Less shit to carry around and less likely to get snagged. The shorter mag is less likely to get in the way in different shooting positions. Its better to treat it like a .30-30 levergun rather than a tactical rifle.

Another thing that is based and not gay about diesel, is that you can safley store it indoors, even in confined or air tight spaces, as diesel is not readily flammable at standard atmospheric temperatures and pressures,(you have to preheat it to like 60c before it can catch a spark in a confined space) as it releases very little vapour it also doesnt stink (unless you spill it or get it on you)
its sofucking based

It will be very very high at 100m but the round can handle the distance.

>he was not, in fact, referring to point of aim.

You must be lots of fun to talk to at parties when you aren't able to understand simple ideas without being spoonfed phraseology which precisely matches your personal conceptualization of something. And then you spent the rest of the day convinced you have found a "jeet invader".
>Consider a self help book sometime man.

If you are given an evacuation order, because your house is about to burn down in less than an hour; are you allowed to take your R's with you when you flee? or do you have to call for permission first?

Barring in mind that you will not just be fleeing to the gun range, but rather may be without a stable residence for awhile, driving around with your R's in tow.
>>
>>65365632
My guess is that you aren't allowed to take them with you at all, because you don't know where youre taking them. They will not give permission to just loiter around with them.
>>
>>65365632

>>
>>65365632
Legally speaking no, but I don't recall any cases of prosecutions occurring (likely because people aren't dumb enough to get caught). Don't forget what happened at High River in 2013 though; either bury them or take them with you because you don't want the police "securing" them for you.

did the new, at the time, hi-points make it in before handgun transfers ended?

Wouldn't they kick in your door anyway just knowing that you have an R? ransack the abandoned house looking for it, then get pissed at you when they cant find it?

They might, but at least you'd have your guns which is the important thing and you could always try to bullshit them later saying that you put them in a super-secret hidden safe they couldn't find.

What happened at High River
>>
>>65365997
High River got flooded and the RCMP took to opportunity to actually start going door to door stealing guns since all the residents were evacuated, and when the residents found out and got pissed they tried to claim that they were just "securing the guns," it was actually a huge thing back in the day.
>>
>>65366066
they were going door to door to make sure everyone was evacuated and came across unsecured guns and just stole them
i think they claimed that looters could've got them

They were specifically kicking on the doors of houses that were in the gun registry data they had illegally kept.
They were not doing it to check evacuations.

That's why every military on the planet has DISPOSABLE stripper clips. If you're already keeping them so you can reuse them, you might as well keep and reuse detachable magazines.
>but this baby can fit so many empty stripper clips
If you are capable of carrying x full magazines, you are capable of carrying x empty magazines.
Stripper clips are fun and the SKS is a superb implement but pretending that stripper clips are better than detachable magazines is retarded.

Yeh,, still not ideal though.
When buying weapons off the jews, one must ask themselves:
>Would the jews themselves trust this, with their own lives, while commiting a RAHOWA
If the answer is yes, then its great, german-tier engineering, if the answer is no, then its a trick, its chinese-knockoff tier.

Thats part of why the Germans hated the Jews so much, because the jews were equally as skilled, talented and crafty as them, but they used those skills in a purely seflish manner, not willing to share their best with the goyim, tricking them B-binned scraps.

Im army PRes and I just completed my infantry trade qualification course, I was thinking of staying as infantry for 8-10 months and then transfering to regular force weapons tech, what are your guys thoughts on this plan? Yeah last I checked it was already legal to rip around with a belt knife whether you're a dirty jeet with a desert dagger or not. Why would anyone want to legislate against that when it's a literal non-issue? These jeets just do this shit for attention & special treatment. We saw this with turbans and motorcycles, turbans and RCMP Stetsons, and now this. They will ruin every cultural establishment that they can for their own gain.
