It's really only cool because it uses common diameter projectiles which is why handloaders loved it first (300 Whisper) before the tactifags got a hold of it. If you don't handload I would avoid.It has two main competitors, 338 ARC that has limited bullet support (with not a single plated bullet available), and 350 Legend that has too slow of a twist and uses handgun bullets, and should've been 358 legend using rifle bullets.It doesn't make sense in a full size rifle but in a suppressed 8" gun it's neat.It reliably kills anything on the North American continent that isn't bear, bison, or cervid.
