I think it's probably fine to shoot larger brass shot through a full choke, but I'm not sure.People shoot large steel shot through full chokes frequently and think everything is fine because they haven't had a problem. But, no one who has split the end of their shotgun barrel shooting large steel shot has done so with a modified choke. It's kinda like shooting Bubba's super pissin' hot handloads in a gun - you might get away with it for awhile or you might not, but if you keep doing it eventually something WILL kaboom. If you have interchangeable chokes and if you're lucky you'll just stretch your choke tube threads until one day you shoot your choke tube out of the gun. This problem is exacerbated by high velocity large steel shot loads (1400fps and up).Remember though - smaller steel shot (and TSS) is generally safe to shoot through full choke.
