The 700 dollar kamikaze quad drones that have revolutionized infantry and armored warfare but have no bearing on naval combat. Modern warships have short ranges, medium ranged and long ranged anti air missiles, cwis, lasers to defeat anti ship missiles, which are just drones and have existed since the 60s.If the USN wants a modern battleship, just take the Iowa hull, remove the two front 16 inch turrets and add 200+ VLS cells for SM-6s and Tomahawks, CWIS and lasers and RIM-114 over superstructure and amidships, and leave the rear 16 inch turret for bombardardment.
