Anyone have experience with ruger mki and mkii mags?I have some newer ones with plastic follower and base plates and some original all metals. I constantly get failure to feed and occasionally eject with the 2 originals.Both of the original followers are cocked to the left like pictured and the thumb buttons are also tilted down.The followers rock back and forth too, the new ones are pretty solid.Do these mags only have 4 pieces? The feed lips on the old ones seem to have spread, I'll have to try and pinch them in a bit to more closely match the new ones to see if that fixes things a bit, but any other ideas?

Having both, the .357 is my choice because the guns are smaller, and hold more rounds. It also has a much more pleasant and controllable recoil. .357 Sig is the ultimate defensive handgun round besides 10mm full power. 45 ACP is much more suited for dangerous animal defense.

Today I went to a suppressor event hosted at a local range. I got to both meet with representatives and shoot suppressed guns of various calibers. Since this is /hg/, I mainly focused on 9mm handguns. Here are my impressions:>Dead AirProbably the most corporate of the group. Everything was professionally setup and the representative was a very clean cut, tall handsome man who talked like an NPC from a video game. The kind of guy that I assume wears a suit the other 364 days of the year. I shot a PDP with an RDX9 and very much enjoyed it. I was surprised at the lack of brochures or merch or anything at Dead Air's tent but I really the kind of standard experience you would expect.>MaximMaxim's represents or was an older gentleman that gave me the impression he was doing it as a favor to a friend. He really didn't seem to know much about his products and a few times he had to thumb through brochure for the information. Once I asked him what the MSRP of an item was and he just said "You get what you pay for" and expected me to be satisfied with that. I shot a PCC in 9mm with one of their cans and it was thoroughly unremarkable. I'd advise Maxim to send a rep that comes off as a little more passionate about their products >SilencerCoEasily my favorite booth. They had a rep AND two assistants and they're were all three very much on it. Their representative was not only very charismatic but extremely knowledgeable on their own products AND their completion. I shot a suppressed Staccato and a suppressed Glock which were fine but also shot a .300BLK rifle which was incredibly quiet. They also showed off a 12GA suppressor that supposedly knocks the recoil down to below 20GA. SilencerCo and Rugged brought a ton of guns as well as pamphlets and free merch.
