just get a decent amazon copy of a 250-300 dollar bipod, there are quite a few and you don't have to blow that much on a fuckin bipod

for heat you should add at least a few mlok panels but I would look around and see what you like. The magpul ones actually work pretty well and are easy to install but they look kinda boring and ugly. You could get more rubberized panels instead of textured polymer or a mix of both depending where your fingers and palms lay on the handguard

you dont NEED a foregrip but obviously a VFG you can just hold will take your hand away from the heat. I use one of the magpul 3 segmented grip panel hand stop kit and cut the back stop a bit shorter so its more even with the front stop. It looks pretty good and works really well grip wise.. at least for me. I'd have to go out of my way to find something 'better' and this already works fine and looks pretty good.

I actually don't own a pistol with one yet, I work at a LGS and get to play with them a lot though. I know a few dots out there have auto adjusting brightness which is a give and take, you can't really change the dot but it will automatically get brighter if you turned on a WML without you fucking with it which you obviously wont have time for. I got a CZ P10C Ported just a few days ago for my IWB carry and I'm gunna get the Holosun SCS that mounts directly to the slide and matches the serrations, it looks awesome.

I don't think I'll use a WML on this though, I actually prefer to have a standalone light. I use a streamlight wedge as my EDC and if I ever had to draw in the DARK dark I'd push that up and out to my side and single hand draw either my Bodyguard 2.0 or this CZ-10C. I'll have to see how the holosun works under my Wedge though that's a good point.

I've got a 16" DD barrel with the FSB (got a free m4 RAS from pops) that I'm trying to make work with the handguard cap. I've noticed the difference in FSB designs from milspec, mainly it pinned in the same place on the barrel.
Am I just fucked and need to get another rail? I don't want to drill inside of the barrel since it's quite new.

yo anon it's definitely heavier compared to my friends 11.5 with a red dot but I routinely went hiking and spent good portions of the weekend doing drills with my previous 16". This is sort of the reason why I don't want to keep the bipod on 24/7 but ill be able to utilize it in certain scenarios. A part of me does admire the simplicity and lightness of the setups u mentioned though for sure. I guess what I have going is sort of 'good enough' for everything

somethings wrong with your buffer tube length, spring strength, the holes in spec but in the wrong spot, bad upper/lower fit or it might be over gassed.
some amount of wear is normal but a perfectly tuned ar doesnt actually have the buffer impact the buffer pin when the gun is assembled. the bcg should be stopping the buffer from making contact with the pin. its only going to make contact with the pin when the upper is removed.
most ars are not perfectly tuned but still functional.

Sharper and shorter, think about one of those piezoelectric lighters rather than a flint wheel. I can see how they'd break optics, the G-forces are clearly much more peak-y. An AR-10 clearly has much more going on especially with regards to buffer spring strength which absorbs force in a more linear fashion, resulting in more sustained force against your shoulder with lower peak G-forces.
