For when I go zero it later this week, literally no intention of keeping it on. Already enough weight up front.

Trying to pick out the best can for it. Currently it has the ambient arms but may switch out for the rc4 or Spiritus.

Plxc coming in with reptilia 1.77" mount inbound.

It is nice Shadow Systems ships with an H2 buffer already installed and I put a Geissele ssa-x flat trigger but the two stage it came with was pretty nice already.
>>
>>65490780
Someone did a flash test with the rhodie 6k and it is muzzle device sensitive just like the rc3. You should use the comstock armory bird cage style flash hider or the rearden one.

>>
>>65490823
I think that's pretty much true for all suppressors not titanium based. Flashhider disperses the unburnt power more evenly vs the brakes dumping it instantly. Someone should test the k designs vs full size and flash hider effect on sparks.

>>
>>65490883

>>
>>65490884
I haven't shot it yet, still waiting for my optic to come in but it weighs a metric fuck ton. I'll report back after firing it but the RC4 was enjoyable vs my friends Ridgeback Rhino. This was using my MK18 vs his mystery meat 11.5".

Still haven't shot the Spiritus nor the Ambient.
>>
>>65490893
Make sure the recessed mount will work. I tried confirming the baffle distance with ambient and they told me 2" BUT they don't factor in the internal taper so it's really more like 1.65". Had to make two trips to the gun store to swap out the mounts.
>>
>>65490900
Uhh.... I might have to weight it again. My specs show that it weighs 6.5lbs with no optic/mag/suppressor/sling, but as the pic shows, minus ammo and mag, 8.5lbs.
>>
>>65490823
I just bought all 3 sizes of the comstock brake plus a plan b adapter. I will try to do a spark test.
>>

>>
>>65490917
What can do you plan on using with it? It has to be something that will fit within the blast chamber.

Velos
>>
>>65490927
Velos has a short blast chamber so you're locked into using the shorter plan b muzzle devices. No FCD 3P15 or anything like that.
>>
>>65490927

Yeah just looked it up and that aforementioned setup would not fit in the blast chamber of the rhodie 6k fug. Oh well good thing I didn't buy it. What's the move for keeping it as flush as possible? Redarden surely isn't the only game in town for a solid mini flash hider
>>
>>65490952
I think if you're going with a K can you're going to have to settle with a regular mount. I went with the Comstock Armory Low Profile Plan-B HUB Adapter, Titanium
>>
>>65490952
see>>65490951
probably the comstock recessed mount with micro brake as long as you're willing to accept more flash or maybe just get a direct thread recessed mount
>>
I want to get a sure fire rc4, this would be my first suppressor and I've done a ton of research. Honestly they seem like a more serious company vs the competition
>>
>>65491002
DESU I think the KAC CRS-3 is the better of the two for a serious military oriented suppressor since the flash reduction is slightly better and the mount allows you to integrate a shield to minimize glowing under nods
>>
>>65490966
I looked it up and I think with the 1" difference I have between the mk16 and 10.3", the recessed direct thread adapter won't work would it? It needs 1.25". Ah well. I guess I could make one

I have one. It's nothing special and it's DB rating/back pressure rating is dogshit.

Spiritus mogs in and it's $400 cheaper. Enough for a plan B mount and hub. Only get surefire if you're already locked into the ecosystem.

Haven't read great thing about the own and honoring warranty
I'd rather buy something full auto rated with no barrel restrictions, rock solid warranty, and a 3D printed section that's separate from the serialized part so warranty work is easy and doesn't require full replacement and another Form 4 (if you're in a cucked state and didn't buy your rights from a private organization providing injunctive relief from the gAyTF)
>>
>>65491054
To be fair, almost all of the full auto rating is BS. Pretty sure all of the suppressors want you to take a break after 180 rounds full auto.

Haven't heard anything about their warranty but it seems all can be super dog shit depending on what went wrong. Ambient Arms seems to also have a bad reputation regarding warranty. It really just depends on your dealer/shop and the shop I use will handle most warranty repairs.

I am interested in the performance. RC4 was decent but I was very underwhelmed by my friends Ridgeback rhino
>>
>>65491076
>I am interested in the performance
The only performance that matters is backpressure
Signature suppression less so, but in no fucking world is anyone here going to be in a firefight against niggas with nods
If you're planning on shooting 5.56 without ears your hearing is already gone and it doesn't matter what can you get
>>
>>65491084
Wtf are you talking about? Nowhere did I say I want to shoot without earpro. I have a Dillon on preorder for $1K from silencer shop. Money isn't an issue for me, and since the 3d market is still super new I'm just testing with my wallet.

Backpressure on the Spiritus is supposed to be decent. I tried the ridgeback rhino and I felt like it was gassing me out more than the rc4. But they may be because my friends rifle isn't as put together as mine since it's a mystery meat 11.5.
>>
>>65491093
Rhino is a low back pressure suppressor in name only, you're not the only one to experience this. It was pretty gassy on the 14.5 I tried it on. On the other hand the rhodie series is good on back pressure.

I mean if I was only obsessed with backpressure I would have gone with HuxWrx. I did pick up one of those ultrasonic cleaners from harbor freight since I know all these have accelerated cleaning schedules.

Apparently that's how professional shops clean them. I'm surprised there aren't any guntubers covering it considering the form 4less crowd is going buck wild right now.
>>
>>65491125
Huxwrx is too low back pressure and only makes sense on oddball guns you can't tune. The best cans are hybrid style cans.
