New to ARs, recently ordered a cheap dot to slap onto my first/only AR. I wanted fixed backup irons and I realized I already had the carry handle the gun came with, so I went at it with a rotary cutter for a bit and sanded it down after. There was no reason for me to do this, I only saved like 50 dollars on a rear sight and its not for any LARP reasons (like the chopped carry handles on old Mk18s), I just felt like it
