putting an anime girl in the corner of your headcam video doesn't make you a female.
>>
>>65501314
But getting beaten up that hard by 9mm certainly makes you a bitch
>>
When SGT is making threads /hg/ is at its lowest point
>>
>>65501326
buying a staccato had that base covered.
>>
So what's the best 9mm suppressor for handguns and why is it the Rugged Obsidian 9?

I like my rugged obsidian more than I like my buddies YHM9. Probably only shot somewhere between 500-1k rounds across 5-6 range trips with it before I had an end cap strike. It hasnt affected any sound suppression from what my ears can hear so I just been rocking with it that way. Apparently I can get a new one from them for free but I'll be honest I just don't care.

I love the Surefire Sococom RC2 cans. The mounting system is just so much easier to get off than others. No wrenches, or them getting really stuck and you end up taking the suppressor apart to remove.

The Q pistol ones are really damn light and don't get that loose from shooting.

Then basically any 22 can that doesn't have a first round pop. I've got the Q one and an AAC Element 2. Just a joy to shoot 22 subsonic at the range or in the woods.

I've realized that my optics ready handgun collection has been growing steadily, they are the
>VP9
>PDP Compact (has an RMR plate)
>P365
>Glock 43x
>M17 (never going to put a dot on that one, the process is too complicated)
>TX22 TORO
And I eventually do want to get an M9A4 and Glock 19 Gen 6 which are going to get a optic.
Out of the greentext firearms, which would be nice to have an optic on?
I'm sure I'll put one on the 43x, but I kind of want to keep the rest stock, but I have thought about doing it for the VP9 and PDP

That's actually another point in the 1911/revolver column.
In my personal experience, the P320 is an excellent pistol, but I don't feel I can trust it. It's feels over reals, but if you aren't willing to admit that's what the handgun industry is based on you have a lot to learn.

The entire point of DA is being able to fire an uncocked pistol as the singular trigger pull both cocks and released the hammer + actuates the rest of the damn gun to fire
Which you know, hinges on the fact the first trigger pull in DA having a loaded round in the chamber
Having a DA/SA pistol and only using it with the manual of arms for a SAO gun is retarded. Just CC a Detonics 1911 at that point or something

My PX4 is essentially a Glock but I don't have to ever worry about an errant shoestring or fold on my holster deciding to cause my gun to go off unintentionally. You're trading a slightly longer trigger pull one (1) time for absolute peace of mind upon drawing and reholstering. If you actually CC everyday like I do, you'll realize the benefits.

NTA, but it's the mental assurance of hitting the switch. It's entirely different from the first DA, which I personally prefer.
What do you want to train to, a DA/SA transition or clicking a safety?
Why not go super hard n mode woth a slide mounted decocker/safety like the Walther cum Beretta.

It’s really not that hard to flip on and off a safety, however carrying a SAO exposed hammer gun gives you similar benefit to carrying a DA hammer down gun because you can wedge your thumb in-front of the hammer preventing the gun from going off when holstering if somehow safety was flipped off and the trigger was pulled,

I couldn't imagine putting on an optic without using a gunsmith. Of all the times to just song it, that is not one of them
>>
>>65502668
Physically it should be aligned, unless the millwork/plate is fucked, beyond that just zero it.

bodyguard rapidly climbing the ranks of highest round count of all my guns. it’s so shootable it’s actually retarded, i love it
>>
>>65502668
There is nothing you can do, short of filing metal, to change how the optic sits on the plate/slide. The screws will automagically coaxially self-locate the optic. You CANNOT hold it out of position and seat the screws.

So sidestepping your question perhaps you might ask, 'how can I get the dot close to zeroed before shooting.' You can put it near where your iron sights align but since you mentioned ligmatism that won't necessarily be accurate. So the short answer is, just shoot it. Move paper to 10 yards if you aren't on paper at 25 but it's going to be extraordinarily unlikely that you wouldn't be on paper at 25 just from machining error

tl;dr just choot it

Does anyone here have a platypus, and if so how do you like it? Do you trust it for carry? Would you trust it for duty?

Fucking same brotherman, that city is incredible. Did you get a chance to check out the Tatras mountains? If you ever go back grab a rental car and go to Zakopane. Park by Dolina Filipka, then you hike to the mountain monestary at Wiktorówki where the nuns serve tea to the hikers and then continue to one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. At the top there is a shack serving smoked sheeps cheese they roast and then top with cranberry sauce.

Loved Poland, it's honestly my favorite country in europe I've visited.

Very good, I like mine. Ran a long stroke guide rod setup for a few matches but slamming a full mag in it would bump the slide of of battery and it would click without bang while on the clock. I went to a vspec and it’s a sweetie now.

Stealth sucks. I have them on my px4xc. My GSD has carry levers and it’s so much better. I would even prefer the stock wings over stealth as the stealth levers are very difficult to use and it doesn’t magically make the gun more curable concealable.

Very nice pre B, the finish and grips look so good! Does it accept modern 75 mags, or is the mag well too tight? I’m on the hunt for a pre b now. The last pistol I need is a full size duty pistol.

Did you do anything to the finish? It looks evenly worn all over the gun.

CGW trigger, The factory one has a big recurve and was pinching my finger. I have never had that happen on any gun before, so I just got one with a different geometry and its been resolved
