There was a Frommer Stop under the artillery lugger and stocked C96 but didn't take a picture of it.

There were three parallel projects to replace bolt action mausers with locally built semis back then
The army produced an STG copy
The navy produced a Garand copy
and finally the air force when with the Johnson copy
but then Peron got ousted and all those projects were cancelled and later the FAL got adopted
The Johnson bears the IAME markings because the air force manufacturing consortium was called INDUSTRIAS AERONAUTICAS MECANICAS del ESTADO or State Aeronautical and Mechanical Industries

Yeah
both the Garand and the Johnson were made in 7.65
The STG was actually made in 7.92 kurtz, since we had a local stockpile of that for some reason totally unrelated to submarines and notable people landing in desolated coasts in the inmediate aftermath of WW2

Display case with modern-ish guns. This was as new as guns got in the museum.

They had a 22 Magnum SMG, kind of a head-scratcher but a guy told me that before 1973 the gun law was extremely permissive so there was a market for fun novelty civilian machineguns.
