I got mine when it came out for like $300 blue line price. I carried a G19 for work and swapped out for the G26 as soon as I got home. Still like it but haven’t carried in awhile.

>>65540439Yes, thin guns like the G43X suck to shoot but full width guns like the G19 feel much better to shoot by comparison. Look into the Glock store M1X, it's an interesting concept and a good upgrade to the Glock 26 imo
a G26 is basically a wider G43 with four more rounds and the G43 is still very relevant. a G43 with a mag extension still doesn't carry as many rounds. a G43X has a much longer grip, the hardest part to conceal, and carries the same number of rounds. if you prefer glocks the G26 is still a fine choice if you shoot it well. the short fat grip is not going to be for everyone.

Never understood how people comfortably grasp these things, or become comfortable (yes they practice and train) with gripping a pistol that has such a gimped small handgrip.RE: the tiny below 9-19mm size cartridge semiautos with even smaller grips, never understood how people can grasp and be comfortable handling those in self defense either (the recent Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 solved that in the below-9mm chambered class). I need a pistol that at least 3 fingers can reasonably and firmly fit around. Even small revolvers permit that

>>65540457Honestly I carry a P2000sk in 9milimemer 8 out of every 10 times I go out, and a P2000 in 40 and P2000 in 9 the other 2 out of 10 times. I think I trust the .40 the most, and although I may shoot *slightly* at a slower rate with the .40, my shots are more accurate and actually pack a punch unlike 9mm. Pic somewhat related except no P2000sk, instead there’s a .45 USP which is my main outdoorsman / hiking carry loaded with 250gr hard cast supers.
