>>65572522>>65572514Can anyone here give me a QRD on "serious" full size .22lr target pistols?Any makes/models that are especially good? Any that are especially bad?Any particular things a buyer should be aware of? Things like reliability issues, parts breakage, spare parts availability, etc?Given proper maintenance, these things should last for like a gorillion rounds before wearing out, right? Is there any good reason to buy a brand new one instead of buying a used one?
Am I really supposed to practice dry fire at home every day with blanks? My neighbors are getting mad

>>65572561???
Does anyone here compete in precision pistol shooting .22s?I wanted to get into it but my gun is fairly heavy and keeping a steady dot is tough after a whileAny recommended practice techniques for this?
>>65572536All fixed-barrel target .22s will have the necessary mechanical accuracy for "serious" shooting, even the cheaper ones.Pardini SP 22 is the king of rimfires, but they have the price tag to match. You don't really NEED one unless you have Olympic aspirations.A Hammerli 215 or Smith & Wesson Model 41 can routinely be found used for $1000-$1500 if you want something suitable for Bullseye that's significantly nicer than your typical Ruger Mk Series or Browning Buckmarks

>>65572888>Be retarded>Spend more money as a result of being retardedTale as old as time!
>>65572888>won't fit a red dotEasy fix. You cut it so it fits the red dot. Red dot holsters don't usually protect the dot.
>>65572890yeah its leather, i could cut it myselfbut it will probably end up looking like shit
>>65572894>it will probably end up looking like shitThat's ok, and as long as you're careful it should look fine. Although I don't have any leather holsters, I have had to modify two kydex ones already to fit my needs. Just carefully cut away small portions at a time until it works and it will look fine.
>>65572888Just buy a new gun that cant even mount a red dot.
>>65572603Realistically, if you're shooting Bullseye then you shouldn't have to hold the pistol up for more than 20 seconds at a time. Even slow fire, you want to break the shot before you start getting shaky, otherwise, abort and start over after resting for 10-15 seconds.
>>65572894leather is like one of the easiest materials to work withyou should already own sandpaper and mink oil if you're an adult
>>65572603i do and have same issuesome things to consider:more comfortable stance / better shoeslighter gun (biggest difference)dont lock your elbow out straight, but keep it slightly bentput your gun down between setssit down between setsmore efficient time usage, dont aim for too longpractice, and exercise with weights. i bought some 2kg dumbbells and do side raises and hold the arm extended for a bit. also practice at home with the pistol by raising and holding it, daily if you canalso i still suck
>>65572945>lighter gun (biggest difference)I have a much easier time one handed with my lighter mki with no dot, so i feel this.>>65572921Both of you addressed this, but i am probably way too slow and holding it too long in practiceI might try an put on a newer lighter red dot or switch to irons on the mkii. Would probably make a world of difference
>>65571046If the gun Is different than pictures on gb you may have a case, but the best case scenario is probably you just returning it to the seller and getting a refund. Otherwise leave a review. If you got it for a decent deal you're fine, the pitting on there isn't that bad

"Although the district court’s injunction applies only to plaintiffs and certain other specified persons, the Department has determined to exercise its enforcement discretion to create greater uniformity, consistent with the Attorney General’s statement today. Consequently, effective October 9, 2026, ATF will no longer require individuals to seek ATF approval under the NFA before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers, and “any other weapon[s]” as defined in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e). ATF will also no longer require such items to be registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. These policies apply uniformly to anyone otherwise subject to these requirements, not just to the plaintiffs in the litigation.ATF will continue to administer the NFA on a voluntary basis. ATF will accept Form 1applications to make or register these firearms and devices by those making such items. ATF will also accept Form 3 or Form 4 applications to transfer or register such items. Manufacturers are allowed to report the manufacture of these items on a Form 2."https://www.atf.gov/media/30961/download big if true
New Acquisition Range Report: 1980 Colt MK IV Series 70Looks good, feels good. I didn't know that 1911s with the higher ejection port will dent the shit out of brass, but now I know. Fired 100 rounds of PMC Bronze 230gr FMJ. The second round I fired failed to chamber completely, and the same thing happened one more time on the last magazine of the day. About once or twice per magazine a spent casing would bop me in the forehead or land directly on the top of my head. The ejector, breech face, and ejection port all look to be in spec. The pistol came with a weird bronzed stainless series 80 profile extractor, so someone was trying to work on the cycling at some point. I ordered a new extractor from EGW, so I'll see if that helps with the feeding and ejecting. And if it doesn't, then no big deal. It's still 98% reliable.
on the G19 G5 now. Makes it feel heftier for certain.

Ah yes, rimfire thread...
>>65573937What is this thing above the revolver?
>>65573804>heftierAny ammo issues cycling with it? I still haven't taken the red dot pill but I will soon.
Is the Springfield 10-8 Masterclass worth it over the Operator? I'm kind of iffy about buying an Operator sight unseen since I had to go to several different gun stores to find a stainless Garrison with good fitment, blending, etc. I figure with the TRP and up they have better QC so my risk of getting a rattletrap is much lower.
>>65573953Toz-35m without the grip
>>65573990I like mine but it has a decent fit, not as good as night cock
>>65573986I am unfortunately pending a range trip with it because I'm on call this week. I doubt there will be any issues but I will let you know when I get out next week - just bought 1000 rounds of PMC from my LGS so I need to use those up now.
>>65572561>dry fire>with blanks
>>65574006With the TRP they select for proper slide-to-frame fitment at the start of the assembly process so you're almost guaranteed to get a good gun. Anything below TRP and they just assemble it from a parts bin, which is why you're kind of rolling the dice if you just order a Garrison or Operator from a dropshipper. I would go to a big box store to fingerfuck an Operator, but with their prices I'd only end up saving like $400 vs just buying the 10-8 model.
>>65572795Ben recommends this
>>65572603>pic relatedUse dumbbells or gallon jugs and do sets of holds. Start with 10 second sets, and work your way up.
>>65573993Thats cool. Do you have a grip for it you have to cut to size? How much was it when you bought it?

>>65574118I spent about 500 on it. It came with a block of wood vaguely cut out to fit on the frame. I got most of the way thru shaping one half of it before I hated the way it was turning out and haven't gotten back to trying again yet. There are a couple euro companies making drop in grips, I probably just get one of those when I feel like it
>>65574188I saw some in that form as well. It sounds tempting even though I'm not one for woodwork
>>65572522>have to spend $2100 finishing my two AR builds instead of CONSOOOMING an A01-LD this month like I want toLife is suffering bros
>>65573734>What kind of ratchets are you dealing with if they steal your guns? She wants it “for protection” even though she forgot to steal the holster and 380 hollowpoint for it. I’ll probably only get it back if I buy her one of those pink girly G42s now.

I never would have thought that grime and fouling would make a pistol look better and am saddened to clean it off
>>65574470Dude what the fuck are you doing
>>65573990>TRP vs OperatorThe TRP is just an Operator, but better (or Loaded, but better, for the non-railed version). It's also a better value as the cost of adding the features of the TRP that are missing form the Operator (checkered front strap, slide top serrations, magwell) would cost more than just buying the TRP in the first place without the added bonus of the enhanced factory fit.The TRP is generally the better choice if you can afford it.>10-8 vs TRPThe 10-8 is essentially a Hilton Yam signature edition of the TRP with a few different features. Which one you should get is mostly just user preference. I, myself, am not a fan of bull barrels and wouldn't get the 10-8 for that reason alone.
Placed an order on a RM1C. Anyone that owns one of these or a Arex Delta care to chime in as I wait for pickup time? For optics I am thinking EPS core or carry, light TLR7X or HL-X, handle-it grips because I like them. Why wont holochink just make a EPS model with the RMR footprint already?
>>65572764Report her to the police ASAP and pray you don’t get a female prosecutor assigned, I am starting to hate women because the same shit happened to me and stupid faggot cops and dumb foid prosector is doing fuck all.
>>65572536>these things should last for like a gorillion rounds before wearing out, right? All I can tell you is both of my olympic pistols (Walther GSP and High Standard 106 Citation) were shot to oblivion for 40+ years as evidenced by impacted sludge throughout and are still a lot more accurate than me and didn't even need springs. They were both under $700 used as wellHigh Standards of all eras are known for finicky, tune-hungry magazines, most other similar pistols aren't
Apparently all the MIM in the 385 is sourced from a Texas plant. Named MIM parts are the trigger shoe, takedown lever, and slide catch. There might be more, but these are acknowledged to be MIM
>>65575014The parts being made in india are only half the problem, the other part is them being MIM. Less MIM shit.
>>65575014By indians in texas*
>>65575019I don't have a problem with MIM itself, it's used in a lot of things that are under way more stress than a firearm and they're fine. What remains to be seen is if these Texas MIM parts will be good
>>65573937
>>65574837Osight and cyelee have similar models made for rmr footprint
>>65575014mim sear and striker for sure
>>65575088Possibly. Like I said I'm not too concerned with it being MIM as much as I am concerned with quality control. I know the San Antonio plant makes OEM parts for GMC, so I don't know if that will inspire confidence or the opposite.
>>65575019>outing oneself as a nogunsYikes.
>>65575019A good MIM part > a shitty machined part. It's just a process with its own pros and cons.
>>65575188The P320 was likely failing due to MIM shit wearing down prematurely.
>>65575235The 320 sucks ass, but that would have been something easy to prove and document. Genuinely don't think it's MIM spec issues
>>65575062The old ruger standards are cool as hell. The 9rd mags are weird tho
>>65572522>rimfire
>>65572522Love my Victory...GOAL: Since it doesn't break bank to shoot it I get some range time in. RESULT: Better shooting with all my pistols. I literally have shot all afternoon for less than trip to mid range restaurant. Making shooting habits stick!
>>65575268Sonny, if you need more than 9 shots, you better work on yer aim
>>65575235From most directions of it it looks more like tolerance issues, even in spec the firing pin is might close to slipping, and the firing pin "safety" is small, and has a small engagement area. Then if a mimed part is out if size spec further it would be an issue. Its clear sig doesn't test their parts, the 365 had multiple batches ship with a too hard striker that would shatter when firing, also had some sort of trigger spring failure issue.
>>65574837I own 2 RM1Cs (i won one at Gunsite and bought the comp version since I liked it so much). I love both. Only issues I've had were FTEs in a heavy down pour of rain just last week (owned both since respective release). Triggers are a little heavy but crisp and short reset. I'm upset their new large magazines are $90 each but all USA I guess. What other questions do you have?
>>65574470Try to hook up with her again, empty a load in her. It's obvious she is a possible /k/ worshipper. Irrational and stupid gun collecting is a sign! Take her to the range, then the bed....
>>65572536This is extremely sexy, do they make them in heterosexual calibers ?
>sp5>Real Stock>Vertical ForegripThis timeline is shaping up
>>65575235That's not how MIM works you fuckin retard. MIM is typically harder than machined steel, unless the machine steel is hardened which it almost never is.
October's challenge? Finally bought a printer lol
>>65575392you're a nigger. Metal Injected Mold. Its goo that gets put into a mold, how the fuck is that ever better than billet steel?
>>65575329The only issue with the tolerance theory is that every pistol is still failing to reproduce the same failure under the same circumstances. Even if every 320 is fucked up in it's unique way, the process for making that individual gun malfunction should be able to be discovered and repeated. I don't know, I'm at the point in this controversy where I just kind of need to know what's actually happening instead of a vibe diagnosis
>>65575392>>655754121. Machined steel for guns is generally hardened, or at least as hard as necessary. 2. MIMed steel can be hardened, but it's just case hardening So a problem with MIM is if it's contacting a surface that's harder than it, or if it was hardened improperly, the few atom thick case hardening will be worn away, exposing the very soft internal steel and then the part degrades quickly. But the buffer problem with MIM (if you have bad a bad source and have bad QC) is it's metsl mixed with a binder, then the heating burns away the binder, this in top of the metal particles melting together causes shrinkage if the part, this can mostly be controlled for but small variations in the metal to binder ratio that happen inevitably can cause parts to be out of spec dimensionally, a good MIM producer will be checking this and throwing them away, and a good firearm manufacturer (like glock) will have their own in house checks for every piece that comes through. And to the p320 as someone mentioned the sear contact surfaces, the striker, and the striker safety are all MIM parts, and have concerningly small contact surfaces even if the parts are in spec. Take glock for example, their striker block isn't MIM, it's machined, and it's contact surface with the striker is about 10x that of the 320, you'd essentially have to snap half your striker off, or a 5-6mm thick piece of machined steel to get that thing to fail. If you look at the 320 it's disturbingly small amount of MIMed metal that's keeping that striker from falling if the sear disengages.
>>65575417Several independent people have gotten the sear to slip and the striker safety to fail. It is rare though, as it seems you need 2 contact surfaces to be out of spec enough to fail. Many more have been able to get the sear to slip but the safety catches the striker. And then whats more interesting are the old 320s that most seemingly would go off with a blow to the slide, but it seems not many of those still exist to be dissected.
>>65575442>but it's just case hardeningThat used to be the case 20 years ago. Sintered MIM parts, which are virtually everything you see in the wild, are through hardened. You sure typed a lot for someone who knows fuckall.
>>65575448Nobody has been able to recreate the incident that actually happened to the individual pistols. Incredibly important distinction.
>>65575448What anon is saying is that they can't do a simulation of the cop getting out of his car and the gun putting a bullet into the ground. Being able to do that would be the silver bullet against Sig, but right now they can say that the only failures people are talking about have been done via torturing or modifying the gun in a way that doesn't represent what happened when it was supposed to have gone off.
>>65575086Holosun has proven record in combat while those are rangetoy chinkshit, I would rather spend a little extra on the proper plate like a good goyim>>65575344Is the grip good or should I spend a little extra on the handle-it grips? I did handle one before buyingHows the recoil? I got the non comp modelIs it easy to carry? What optic, light and holster you use? I want an IWB holster
>>65575488Grip is fine. You might want to put a patch of something in the smooth spot at the top if you have a really high grip
>>65572522Picked up a new Mark IV recently, and just got it zeroed and cleaned. Off a rest at 25yds I could get 1.5” groups with 40gr CCI Minimags.Shooting a Glock right afterwards was painful because the trigger is much heavier, and generally mushy.
>>65575014Expanding on this, they were clear on the interview that while they would be sourcing some small parts from international companies, all parts would actually be manufactured stateside. Everything on the gun will say made in America.
>>65575410>October's challenge?AFAIAC, I completed that years in the making with all the times I aimed for the cranial nerves on a silhouette. The anon who designed this month's challenge is still appreciate however.
>>65575488standard grip is ass I use HIG grips. Recoil is fine, I shoot 124 grain so its a little snappy. 115 is fine. I use my t rex arms 226 w/x300 light (since its light based) to CC. I have a non-light holster from ANR design and its pretty nice.
>>65575488I used my free non-comped version up at Gunsite for the comp shoot with vortex defender ST. I managed to get third out of ~280 total.
>>65574398>Global Ordinance finally had the Grand Power ARAQ-S in stock>Need to finish paying off my current debt before I can spend more money GUNSOOOOMING>Christmas is looming right around the corner as well
I wanted a glock 34 as a larp gun, figuring that I already carry a glock 19 with an x300 now so I might as well take advantage of a longer barrel/slide to meet the same overall length with the light. And because muh John Wick. Regrettably I waited too long now I can't find any 34s around me. What other handgun should I consider with a 5 to 5.5" barrel length? I'd rather get a longer gun so I can enjoy a tiny bit of extra velocity and also a longer sight radius because micro red dots just dont work with my eyes

>>65577480>phlster enigmaNever understood how these things work, like any holster attaches? What gives
>>65577539"Assembled in America" means nothing.Literally just re-packaging complete products form China in different boxes, or slapping some decals on the original boxes, legally counts as "assembling" them in America. That's how these blatantly Chinese products are "assembled" or "made" in the US.The star-striped banners on the boxes are just marketing BS intended to separate fools from their money.

>>65577556That shit doesn’t fly for military and government contracts the Colt Optic line is going for. Sig has a Chinese rebrand line and an assembled in the U.S. line for example (and their assembled in the U.S. wins contracts). The electronics are probably sourced from South Korea or another NATO aligned country like Sig and robotically assembled in the U.S. they put their company in Michigan to use former Trijicon and Eotech employees.
>>65577468I do sometimes. It helps to use a holster with a claw so you can press the grip into your body. I thought it was too big too until I got a better holster.I'd still like to get a smaller gun though for CC since I added a red dot and light to the 19 it's more of a house gun at this point.
>>65577569It’s 389 dollars. Fully enclosed, shake awake, good button placement, 9mm case windage and battery removal. It’s American excellence.
>>65577570>That shit doesn’t fly for military and government contracts.....The US military and government buys foreign products all the fucking time. Why the fuck to retards keep parroting the boomer meme that the US military/gov only being allowed to buy products made in the US or in allied NATO countries???It's clearly not true. All the mil/gov has to do is claim that there is no suitable US or NATO-made product that meets some arbitrary and extremely obscure requirement, and they can just pull those requirements out of their asses without having to justify them. They've been buying Aimpoints for decades and those are all made in Sweden, which wasn't a NATO country until a few years ago.
>>65577468> I might wait for a gen6 Glock 43x MOSIs the G43x not a gen 6 right now??
What’s the best way to go about buying a handgun from a different state? I can legally have whatever I want but stores in my state aren’t going to stock the Mach3d. I’m determined to not let that stop me since this is for my duty carry weapon, but I’m unfamiliar with circumventing this as I’ve never had to before.Any advice? I’m considering just flying to my buddies state where he works at a gunstore and getting a fishing license with his address. But I’m open to other alternatives. And as a side question, I’ve also got 2 or 3 coworkers that would probably want to buy them if I can bring back extras, would gun stores back in commieland have a problem with facilitating transfers between us? Private party transfers of off roster handguns is legal, but I’m worried about stores being gay about it.
>>65577584>order gun to your FFL>Tell your FFL you're ordering a gun>Go fill out the form and pick it up when they tell you it's in?
Should I buy taller iron sighs so they co-witness with my optic, or does co-witness not really matter?
>>65577584It's easy, they send it your gun store or FFL and then you pay the gun store a fee. I live in a real red state and there's no issues, most of the time on gunbroker they won[t ship to CA. but the seller will list all the states they don't fuck with
>>65577580You mean Sweden the famously NATO aligned country which has always been aligned with NATO without formally joining until very recently. In your own post you state that U.S. products have a preference and a justification (obscure requirement) is required to purchase outside the U.S.. Aimpoints were bought since literally there was no competition for red dots durable enough for military use. Now there are and for example Sig optics are being bought. They ain’t buying Holosun or any other Chinese brand.
>>65577592I did. I think you should. If the red dot goes out you won't be able to shoot for shit

>>65577589I’m being told no one will send them to CA. I’m not familiar with ordering from out of state though so if I’m mistaken I’d be pleased to find out.>>65577594I’ve never used gunbroker, isn’t that all private transfers? Ideally I’d just get it retail.
>>65577603>send them to CA>I can legally have whatever I wantAre you sure? Also gunbroker isn't private transfers, people on gunbroker require you to ship to an FFL.
>>65577592Seeing through the optic is actually for losers. Occluding the optic is the way to go. You should be shooting both eyes open and focused on the target, the red dots is going to be there even if the optic is occluded by your irons or by a piece of tape.

Hot take, but I feel like practical shooting sports have basically turned into Sport KarateWhere once they were a way to promote the skills and best practices to win a fight they have turned almost entirely into a game where you shoot guns that you wouldn't carry in ways that you wouldn't want to in a real gun fight.
>>65577793I think this is a very cold take with high level military members participating in practical shooting sports, having competition shooters flown out and to train them how to shoot, and pretty much all high speed tactical guys using shooting techniques developed by competitive shooters. Isosceles was developed by practical shooting competitions, c clamping which would become thumb over bore was developed by practical shooting competitions. Yes, you won't be running through a stage/kill house like you do in USPSA as if it were real life. But shooting is shooting, the skills to put gun on target faster and mash the trigger faster are real. My former boss did complain about training scars from practical shooting where it's usually two shots per target in competition, he witnessed people only putting two shots into a guy before "transitioning away" from him despite him not truly neutralized yet.
>>65577793That sounds right to my ego but I've never competed so I can't really say from experience. My range started hosting some random string of letters competitions so I'm going to try maybe this month.

>>65577788https://opticfootprint.com/compare/shield-rms-vs-rmsc/EPS will not work with RMS.as far as I can tell, EPS/EPS Carry is 407k (it's actually it's own footprint, it has 4 forward slots for posts, but that's irrelevant it's basically 407k) which is RSMC without the rear lugs. So a true RSMC plate with 4 protruding lugs will not work with an EPS, you have to grind/file the rear off. Many people just make 407k/RSMC plates and call them RSMC where the rear lugs are missing. You'll have to do RMR to EPS which is stacking plates, the RMR optic plate and then the RMR to EPS adapter. Which I think is only for the EPS full size and uses the extra 2 forward posts I was talking about. you are not retarded

>>65578000Is there an easy way to change shells on the enigma?
>>65578053Two bolts to swap the holster, you could glue/epoxy together your spacers and wingclaw so they don’t come apart after you get it set so rebuilding the enigma is easier. I tried the Concealment labs since you just unclip the holster like a belt and I didn’t not like how free the gun is horizontally. You have to clip the “belt” and your actual clothes together. You could just wear a real belt at that point or use Hunter Constantine’s concealment belt, or mastermind concealment’s.
>>65578061Swapping holsters on a Phlster is possible but not a thing you do frequently. It takes some adjustment for each different gun. Once you have a set up the way you like it you leave it and buy a second.

I think 1911 Bushing muzzle-brakes/compensators are stupid, how's it supposed reduce recoil if the whole thing moves back with the slide, it's better to just get a threaded barrel and put a brake/Compensator on the end of it, that way all the gasses exit giving maximum recoil reduction.technically not a handgun but the PM63 is the same way, the whole compensator moves back with the slide how is it going to give anything other than the slightest miniscule intangible amount of recoil reduction?

>>65578296>o_O>>65578323>>65578354A numb leg is still difficult to run with, I imagine.>>65578390>exclusivity is what you are paying forYeah, that tracks.>>65579205>don't own any optics ready semi autosYou must be referring to pistols because optic rails for carbines and rifles were solved 30 years ago but I can related otherwise :v
If you rely on a gun, you’re a liability.
>>65579345If you have a gun, you're a liability.
>>65579345If you're a woman, you're a liability.
>>65578390Don't be too hard on brokebin the nicest place he's ever been was olive garden.
>>65578370Hell yeah anon! Are you the one that ordered the zero 2 from Global Ordinance? Do you still need another 20 round mag? I think I may still have several in original packaging I would be happy to send it to you if you wana pay me what I paid (either $20 or $25 ill check through my email) plus whatever the cheapest shipping is.
>>65579239Right now I am holding off on ordering off their site because I wanna save some shekels with free shipping, discount or maybe they send me something like a hat.>>65577921I don’t have access to a bunch of optics and stuff so I gotta spend my own shekels on it. What I intend on doing is taking the plate and or gun with me to my LGS and dry fit testing what would work on the slide.
Am I supposed to learn how to shoot good before I get a red dot? Do I even need a red dot?
>>65579458Here's the email from DK firearms, if you're interested my email is bluefnanon@proton.me I'll look through my stuff I'm like 90% sure I have at least one in packaging or if not unfired out of the packaging.
>>65579381Tread lightly
>Get an email from Recoil Gunworks that they have LE Trade .38 Special ammo for dirt cheap>click the link>it's already sold outFuck me, sorry I'm not a boomer that can sit on my PC all day
>>65579476Let's answer these in reverse order>Do I even need a red dot? No>Am I supposed to learn how to shoot good before I get a red dot?Virtually every instructor has stated that people improve faster with dots than irons because the feedback a dot gives you helps you to correct errors in presentation as well as showing your input on the gun. Once you can present the gun with the sights more or less on target and you improve your trigger control to where you don't disturb the sights when you pull the trigger, the dot makes almost no difference except in cases where irons would be difficult/impossible to see such as low/no light environments.
>>65579476>Am I supposed to learn how to shoot good before I get a red dot?Up to you, a lot of folks find dry fire training to be the fastest path to getting good and red dots make dry fire training much easier. You don't need a red dot, they just make shooting tight groups especially at distance easier. I can print some great nearly one hole groups with my guns with irons a lot of the time, or I can shoot my red dot guns and print those groups every time.Red dots are getting really good now days so you can get something way better than the average $300-500 dot in 2016 for half that price in 2026. Mounting them can be annoying but just post here and folks will help you. They helped me!
>>65577935>>65577947I was thinking maybe just I could buy a 509t or full size EPS then move the EPS carry on the RM1C because its sitting on my LARP gun. I mean I might as well use something with a bigger window since my Glock is a full size model.
>>65579476Once I shot with a red dot, irons were dead to me
>>65579518Dang, I've been running magtech ammo that farts all over my snub and leaves lead residue on my fingies because it's the cheapest I could find.
>>65579528>>65579535Thanks.>>65579769I feel like a boomer for wanting to stick with irons but I might look into throwing a red dot on my walther pdp.
>>65579797Eh, irons are fine, in my opinion.
>>65579341No shit I'm talking about optics ready pistols we're in the handgun thread, but I don't own any semi auto rifles with an accessory rail either.
>>65579834Don't take pasteboy seriously.
>>65579489>>65579458Yeah, that's me. GO said they had a hiccup contacting my FFL.so they took a few extra days to ship the gun, but I finally picked it and the EZ9 up yesterday. The Zero 2 only came with 18 round magazines, so I'd love nothing more than to buy a 20 round mag.
>>65579834>we're in the handgun threadOh, so you specifying "semi autos" means that you have optic(s) for your revolver(s). I don't have a red dot sight either but am somehow the only anon that shoots minor A–zones at 10 yards unlike >>65579856 who wont go beyond seven unless the target is 10.5x10.5 or larger.
>>65579922it took you what, 12 years to learn how to shoot a handgun?
I hear this thing is a piece of shit but I still kinda want one
>>65579341>You must be referring to pistolsWhat the fuck else would he be talking about?
>>65579518That's what happens when you go around sharing deals that you find. Someone probably posted about it on reddit too. If you find something nice keep it to yourself or get ready to lose it forever.
>>65579499Or what you'll send in future rape victims?
>>65579476For night vision you need a red dot because civilian grade pistol lams suck
>>65580327I don't think I'm going to ever get night vision but that's good to know.
>>65580335Nah man you need the night vision and the red dot and the pistol lam even though they suck. You should probably get a silencer too. Shooting pistols under night vision is super important stuff.
>>65579476Yes you need a red dot >>65579528“The dot makes no almost difference” total larp tourist statement Yes I said it. You’re a tourist in the shooting community
>>65579476If you are buying a gun thats even capable of taking a red dot youre NGMI
>>65580327I agreePistol LEM does suck
>>65580398There is nothing wrong with LEM.
>>65580335NV is a fun toy but handgun irons are still nice, tritium is a meme>>65580413>>65580398Dunno what LEM is but jews don’t want goyim to have good lasers

>>65580182Technically 20 since the first time I shot was with automatic pistols in 2005 but in my defense: most of those years were spent being nogunz and preoccupied with AR-15's.>>65580220Anything "semi auto" like carbines and rifles, duh.>>65580242A female with a firearm isn't going to be victimised.
>>65580468More like a female with a firearm is an accident waiting to happen.
>>65580468>A female with a firearm isn't going to be victimised.lmfao. lololololol. They throw down their guns as soon as they think they're going to lose.

How do I cure my handgun while the paint is drying?
>>65580683lol
