We’ve seen the debates for Africa, but could they defeat the united armies of 1939 Europe in an all out war?
>>65585457Africa would stand a better chance. Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Morocco, etc. would clown latam
>>65585492Wrong
>>65585457They don't have the industrial capacity for a long term war and don't really have the sort of standing army that would be needed to take all of Europe in a rapid decisive action, so no. The Brazilian navy would absolutely wreck any '39 navy you could name, though, so things might end up as some kind of goofy negotiated stalemate.
>>65585505I always imagine this scenario with them being given some type of land connection or Normandy like foothold for the land war aspect or else it would just be the 2026 country dumpstering Europe with their Air Force and navy while staying relatively untouchable
Oh wow, the exact same thread from last week. >>65577986.
>>65585540Yeah? He referenced that thread in the OP.
>>65585457The short answer is No.The long answeer is still No, but with loads of brics screeching.
>>65585457Well they'll be on a much more solid footing food security wise than modern Africa without imports
Now we just need someone to make a thread on if 2026 South America could beat 2026 Africa
>>65585457Mexico and Brazil have enough bespoke production capability to handle themselves. Hell, on the aircraft side all they'd need is Tucanos and they'd have the entire European fighter corps cucked.
>>65585564They can't build enough.
>>65585557>all Islamists could starve to deathHuh, would you look at that.
>>65585557Oh egypt, foodbasket of the empire, how you have fallen.
>countries without long range bombers and most dont even have a navyGermany and Britain figure out the amerikkka bomber and arm It with an air launched nuclear V2
>>65585564>TucanosLater ww2 jets were already clocking in 900+kmh
>>65585457They'd have much better odds than Africa, but would still lose. Their main advantage is having an actual industrial base and significant White hispanic populations. Their main disadvantage is that they have the Atlantic between them and Europe, making it much harder to strike or launch an invasion, and giving 1939 Europe more time to build up and advance their technology. The war would probably last a lot longer, at least.
>>65585651>Gets Gripen'd
>>65585557In this fictional scenario where these countries magically unified and stablized under central leadership africa could easily feed itself. Its insecurity comes from them exporting cash crops instead of growing stuff specifically to feed themselves, and violence and instability in the countrysides, both problems that would disappear if they suddenly unified, stabilized, and became isolated from the rest of the world.
>>65585457How the actual fuck will either side conduct a naval invasion when they have to cross the majority of the Atlantic?
>>65585544The answer is the same. If it was just infantry vs. infantry, Europe would win, but any country that has access to Gen V (or even Gen IV) jets will obliterate 1939's Europe's air force, navy, artillery, AA, etc.>>65585561That'd be a more interesting discussion, one I'd resort to being a listener, as I wouldn't know who wins in 3rd world vs 3rd world.
>>65585552Literally only Brazil is a member of BRICS in this image.
>>65585557The most interesting thing about this map is that in 2020 Best Korea was listed as Food Secure. That's an incredible change from 20 years prior. It could also be BS.
>>65585492Doesn't Brazil actually have a military industrial complex?>Amatuers talk strategy, professionals talk logistics
>>65585595Pretty much all of North Africa is that
>>65586383They've actually put in huge work towards food autarky. Hilariously they've grown up to be "the responsible one" of gulaghomo but ngl good for them. Game recognizes game
