Help me understand something.If a trans person is anyone who doesn't conform to the traditional genders, wouldn't that make gay and lesbian people trans as well?Also, if gender is largely a social construct, why is it necessary for a trans person to be affirmed if it's made anyway? Isn't it more efficient and straightforward to just express yourself intuitively, rather than all aligning yourself to what is functionally a new gender ?
