For what its worth, I never expected it to happen. I pretty much accepted that I'd die alone in life. All I can recommend is learn to love yourself as you are, strive to carve out the life you want, and always love others.

Finally, I can't stress this last one enough - be a part of something tangible. Either a local community thing, or a hobby, hell just be a part of an online community and just be yourself. I met my partner through streaming of all things.
