I've been thinking about this as well. I realize how much it could just be cis women directing hatred towards people, enough so that gay men have internalized it. Enough so that gay dynamics practically become just a display for women. Ironically a hatred of feminine people that is driven mostly by women.

That being said I embrace the idea of masculine men being allowed to have emotions and be allowed be penetrated, but I think if you look at lesbians that's certainly not the case.

But there's also the fact that it's practically just assigned to you based off of how you look, and following that is obviously all of these expectations to fit the role of it being a degrading thing. I understand if you just don't like it. But the thing is if you're seen as a shameful and lesser person, then that's simply your assigned role.
