Yeah, torsions or damaged blood vessels can lead to necrosis which can be fatal. Best educate yourself on doing it safely and have a plan in case you do fuck something up.

It’s fine as long as you sooth them with boiling water afterwards, you should press a bottle with boiling water for at least 5 minutes for it to work.
