At what point during voice training do you start using your tranny voice around your friends? Maybe im being a retard but do you wait until its passable? Do I just tell them "Oh guys btw Im going to sound like a weird faggot from now on" Im so lost, I need the practice during conversations but like either way im just going to look like a freak to them arent I
>>40932375if your friends are there live for your transition then it will come as a natural part. Like your buddy seeing you wear a shitty amazon basics skirt for the first time or what you might refer to as an "attempt at eyeliner"If your friends are trannies they should be understanding but even your cis friends shouldnt be freaked out about it unless they literally dont understand what being trans means
>>40932375>>40932420oh btw i train at home by just speaking to myself a lot. I think it helps train you to maintain the voice. The worst thing would be constantly changing the way you speak in front of other people.
>>40932375cant you train while talking to other people rather than your friends?
>>40932420Thats made me happy to read, thank you
>>40932428I like already feel uncomfortable talking like that to my friends, id actually rather rope than do it with strangers
>>40932464even with random people online?
>>40932474Yeah, I dont really like talking to random people that much normally
>>40932375I honestly still don't even talk with a some acquaintances if i feel like they'll give me shit for it despite the fact my voice passes well enough anons here will say so. So fwiw you're not alone in feeling like it's awkward and scary, you could literally have a mostly passing voice and still be like >uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh idk if i want them to hear this >they might mock me>or even just feel uncomfortable and like I'm creepy...I'd say just see if u have any (mutual / group) friends u feel could have your back and just sorta talk about these exact feelings with them. Especially say, after getting your voice good-enough at least in recordings and making it clear u won't cry if they feel it's bad and just wanna avoid it being annoying / unnatural sounding. That way first u know at least a couple friends are okay w/ you and can help give u support, then you swap when those friends think ur starting to do alright or aren't annoying, and ofc it could always have some awkwardness with some people (see: me rn) but >>40932420 starts to apply so hard.
