Do you have any flamboyantly gay friends irl?
>>
Not really, I'll make nice with them at a party but I don't like hanging around camp people
As exhausting as it is for me to hear it must me three times as bad for them to act like that
>>
>>40958798
Is there any way they could act femininely that you wouldn't deride as camp?
>>
>>40958680
I don't have ANY friends actually. I talk to myself a lot, it's actually pretty comforting once you get over the embarrassment.
>>
>>40958863
would you befriend a lonely flamboyant gay man?
>>
No. Everything I do they consider boring. I can turn it on when I have to at events but I enjoy the quiet too much to invite one into my life.
>>
>>40958680
1 dude and he passes for a woman except for his extremely hairly legs. im so fucking jealous
>>
>>40959195

>>
>>40958680
Yh he lets me know about cool music and roller discos
>t chaser
>>
>>40959063
are you boring?
>>
>>40959309
Nope. Just everything I do is
>>
>>40959336
so you are boring
>>
i AM the flamboyant gay but i keep it under control for propriety’s sake
>>
>>40959354
we shouldn't have to repress our feminine behavior at all
>>
>>40959346
See what I mean
>>
>>40959056
sure, I wouldn't mind.
>>
>>40959373
lmao the shade
>>
>>40958680
I had one but he’s a straight woman now
>>
>>40959615
I just like quieter activities. And by that I pretty much only mean I don't like bars
>>
>>40959373
>ok im boring but you have to waste your time on me anyways
>>
>>40958680
I have no idea whether anyone I know is gay.
>>
>>40958680

Ik what you mean but there's a difference between a banana taped to a wall and literally everything made postwar. That being said I'm a slut for outdoor sculptures no matter the style
>>
>>40960257
I like the idea of outdoor sculpture but most of it is incredibly boring and joyless.

Yeah it's normally a mixed bag. Just keep an open mind and don't go in with expectations.

Idk if you're interested in stuff like this but Kern County Museum has an online membership option that gets you in to thousands of museums for free. I had my parents get it for Christmas along with an America The Beautiful pass so it really is free. That way I either don't care or I'm pleasantly surprised
>>
>>40960350
im on food stamps so i get "museums for all" where you show your id + food stamps card and you get discounted admission to lots of places and its supposed to also provide the same discounted price to 3 other people in your party but I've had to argue with two museums to get that discount for them

sculpture could be lots of complex geometric patterns and interlocking bright colors but usually it just feels like rich people laundering money and I hate it
>>
>>40958680
no but i want a gbf
i need a flamer in my life </3
>>
>>40960377
I don't like being exploited for being different. I wish I could socialize with other flamers.

Don't go to contemporary or modern art galleries then. All rotating gallery stuff is normally crap anyway. I prefer the permanent collections way more cuz they try harder. State or regional museums are a good bet too

I literally don't
>All rotating gallery stuff is normally crap anyway
I had a nice experience at the Zanesville Art Museum they had an invitational art exhibit where the art is made by locals and can be purchased and a lot of it was very nice.
Also, gift shops are free museums for the poor. And some gift shops are really nice and you can handle the nice items usually.

Closest I ever got was the Cs in Ohio. Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati. Likes the German part of Columbus a lot and went to a comic museum that was having some sort of conference they let me attend for free. Good times

I try to stay closer to the hillier bits so I never have time for the big cities. I spent a little time in Cincinnati - but really just driving in at sunset, getting pizza, and driving to a sketchy airbnb hosted by a gay guy who seemed like a hoarder on the third floor of a townhouse in the ghetto. But, I will say CinCin had a LOT of gay-friendly signs in the city just on the drive in and seemed ok.
Was mostly there for Hocking Hills - which was worth it but crowded.
