I have met a significant number of younger church ladies with nostril piercings, it’s subtle and accentuating and thus it’s allowed to proliferate on the condition that it’s only for women. Septum piercings make a bolder statement, they are more confrontational and somewhat punk, the connotation is more like gauges than nostril being more like ear piercings. It’s probably still a bad idea for a trans man trying to stealth, but cis dudes can get away with it a lot more than they can with nostril

>>40964915This is true, but if you transition then you have to like your chosen name and cool names are easier to like. I think that a good way to get a unique name that isn’t too clocky is to look to the past, but that’s easier with girl names a lot of which still work well in the present
