>>40971177yeah im saying it got retconned away. eso injected it back in after a sort. its sort of just a dumb asspull. they said that around the turn of the third era they basically cut down the jungle and turned it into farmland so its still intact in eso but like idk it feels so much more soulful to have the beating heart of the empire actually be alien and not just an idyllic grassland. im working on a fantasty story of my own and making all of the biomes completely unlike earth just to help externalize some of my disappointment with bethesda's treatment of the TES world. elder scrolls world from just the books is 99x cooler than elder scrolls world actually depicted in the games (besides morrowind)
