>>40986417i actually did this often, but not out of pure gluttony. since my dad died i’ve been going to dinner every sunday with my grandparents. usually we order from our favorite italian place in town, i got a pizza, my grandmother got fried scallops, and my grandfather got whatever he wanted. he’d also get a chocolate cake from the bakery. i’d take a slice, my grandmother would take a slice, and he’d take a very small slice. then i’d get sent home with half a pizza and like 3/4 of a cake. so i just had to finish 3/4 of a chocolate cake over the course of the next 6 days every week because i’d get another cake the next sunday. sometimes, i’d give what was left of the cake to friends on my way back from there, or if i had friends over, i’d offer some to them, but it was mostly just me especially since my mother stopped taking pieces. hasn’t been the case for a while though, the last few months we’ve been going out to dinner to mix things up (and get him out of the house) plus i’ve been busy some sundays.
