What's your favorite programming language?Mine is Rust. Ferris is so qt!
>>40996853>What's your favorite programming language?kotlin, shame that it's only relevant for android
>>40996892>kotlinWhy?
I'm a C# kind of tranny
>>40996937because i like it, swift would be also nice if not for apples retardation
>>40996971Very sharp. Although I prefer C. It's simple and best for Linux.>>40996989Oh, okay.>swift would be also nice if not for apples retardationCan you elaborate?
>>40996853Rust syntax looks hellish. Don't care if it's useful I'm sticking to Python because I'm a brainlet.>>40996971>>40996892Only employed anons.
Go and Python
python because it's easy and straightforward
Java or Python
>>40996853LISP hehe
bash and c ayupno M$ wangblows
>>40996853C :3
>>40996853I am a Zig and Java kind of girly
>>41000554> CSuper based ^^I guess Gentoo is your distro of choice? Or do you use any other distros or unix systems?>>40997753Bash is awesome.
>>40996853I have sever anger issuesThis thread makes me angry and I don’t know why
>>40996853I like C-like languages: C, C#, C++, Java. Rust to me looks like puke.
>>41002486You like Java so that only speaks in favor of Rust.
I'm a GOlang cuck
I like python or C. I used to be a huge assembly nerd before I figured out how stupid it is to write in when you don't have to but I always find an excuse to use it
>>41002359Yeah it is!! Been using it for 2 years now and its my go-to distro :3Im also a big fan of Void Linux and i do have an old puter running it as a small server ^^
>>41003624Really great taste, anon ;3Void has been my go-to distro for a few years but now Alpine has taken that spot (both desktop and server).
>>41003624>>41003711i just use mint, fuck it
>>40996853haskell, agda and lean4
>>41003711Thankieee :3I never used Alpine myself but ive only ever heard great things about it,, been considering using it for an old really bad specs macbook air i have laying around :o
>>41003733Mint is a solid and good choice, it just works, i respect that :D
>>41003872>Thankieee :3<3>been considering using it for an old really bad specs macbook air i have laying around :oIf you find time, it's fun to tinker around with it. Alpine being musl based (Void also has a musl version) might pose some challenges depending on what you're setting up. Although installing the gcompat library pretty much fixes most of the issues. It was a fun process for me. Hopefully, it will be the same for you~
>>40997140>Rust syntax looks hellish>uses language with whitespace indentationlmao
Anybody with enough Linux experience must try NixOS. You will forever not be able to distrohop back purely because you'll realize just how shit everything else is in comparison, no matter how much you hate it.
>>41003933Oh my void installation is also the musl version, i should be just fine ^^I prob won't do much but use it as a machine to surf the web and maybe draw in or smth so im sure i won't have any hiccups :3
>>41004295I've tried NixOS before, was a bit weird at first but i did like it and i can see why people enjoy it :oIm just waiting on SixOS to be a thing to maybe give it another shot since im not a big fan of systemD is all
>>41004343>Oh my void installation is also the musl version>>41004349>im not a big fan of systemD is allBe still, my heart. I think I'm in love.
>>41004550Sorry, I should let you know that I already have a partner who I love very muchYou do seem to be a very kind person and i do think its awesome i found someone who shares similar tastes in Linux / UNIX as i do :3
>>40996853> Mine is Rust.Of course the troon picks this one.

i have A.D.D and i find intimidating to learn new code languages for programing. I have friends who have adhd and are skillful on python in their work field. Is Python a code language that is easy to learn for people with attention deficity? how do i learn it in a practical way? i want to be able to make simple softwares with it.
>>41005107i already know the basics of program languages by the way. html, css and such.
>>40996971ew
>>41007536sorry but I'm a m$ corpo slave tranny
